you don't have to file a change of address to get mail somewhere else. i moved about 1000 miles away from home 4 months ago and my family sends me care packages all the time, no prob.... my name is not even on the lease on my apt. for income tax purposes, i live somewhere i'm not supposed to afford. i just help w the rent, utilities, etc. w/ my roomie, none are in my name.... and my paychecks arrive alright... i haven't even changed my license, haven't applied for a local ID or nothing.... a dog prob sniffed it out or something... mail is checked at random, one batch in every so many packages checked.. there's a lot of factors, amt of traffic, any backlogs, delays, equipment breakdown..... its like quality control in a manufacturing plant.... they inspect enough packages to catch an acceptable number of 'malfunctions' or 'imperfections'.... they go through a statistical process to determine what number of packages to inspect, determined on forecasted traffic.... what prob happened is this: they forecasted more traffic flowing so more inspections were ordered... but there was a lot less traffic than was actually forecasted so a higher percentage of packages ended up under the microscope.... sux to be u... try again.... by the looks of it it's more probable the package WILL arrive than not.... better luck next time....

oh and to all the people who order seeds all the time there is such a thing as a "sneek & peek" warrant, where law enforcement agencies are allowed to open your correspondence, inspect it, re-seal it, and let it arrive at it's destination... i'm not sure what states actually allow for this type of invasion, i'm just throwing it out there.... i saw it the other day on "masterminds"....

And i thought the us was laid back, the uk is much different, our post comes because of the address on it not the name.
Jeezzzz Dude! If U.K. packages are just delivered to the "address", then why bother to put anybodies effen "name" on it????? In the States, mail is sent to a "named individual" at a "certain address". Most postmen know the "names" of the folks on his route. If he comes upon a piece of mail with an "unknown name" at any given "address", it will usually be kicked-back as "Addressee Unknown". I sure hope this clears things up, as I don't know how to make it any simpler!
And to those of you who have used "phoney" names to order seed, and didn't get them, blame your mailman, he probably sent your package BACK as Addressee Unknown to the "phoney" return address that the seed bank used, and now your beans are rotting in some dead letter office somewhere. "Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive".
Good luck & good grow......BB

It wouldn't be a "State" thing. All mail in the U.S. is handled by the U.S.P.S.

Sounds more like a cop than a postman dude, people in the uk still put names on mail etc as there could be more than one person living in the house, but that us set up seems mega strict, you could put Micky mouse on my mail and id still get it aslong as the address and post code are correct, thats one fecked up set up in the states.

I understand what your saying, just very different set ups in diff parts of the world, as ive said in the uk the name is of no concern to our postman its the address he delivers to not the person. i hope he gets his next ones ok.

i say we stop posting names of seed companies on this site,links,etc...From now on if somebody wants info. On beans ,use hightimes.com or cannabisculture.com.everyone agree..also we should stop posting pics of everything related to purchased seeds,packaging,...etc..

This isnt true at all well i take that back maybe ina really really small town in the country. In the states name doesnt matter the name as long as it has one. If the address is a valid address they deliver the item to that address they do not cross check a name unless a mail man knows oh John doent live here he lives 2 houses down then he may redirct it but for the standard as long as the address is valid name isnt important.
