my seedlings both have problems i need help!

both are white widow feminized seeds and the temp is around 75 and huidity around 47%. 125 watt cfl. i started these on oct 4th. they were in a humidity dome but now they are not.

is this mold starting? or is this just part of the root cause i think one of its first roots finally hit the bottom of the rooting cube yesterday.

then this one came out looking like frenkinstien to begin with. it also rooted way faster and better then the other when it was germinating

any imput is appreciated. it is a closet grow so its not very fancy. but its fncy for a closet. my ph is right. and im giving no newts.

dude you need to get them in there medium or soil. bury them up to the 2 small leaves and they will be ok.. yes that looks like mold starting.. you can take a q-tip with peroxide and clean the spot, then you can transplant them.

you want me to plant part of the stem? is that going to affect it at all?
...first off, not all 'mold' is bad and here's a link where you can learn a little something about the concept of 'beneficial' fungi.

An Overview of Mycorrhizal Fungi

...it's also important to realize that seedlings are fragile and can be tricky so the more experience you have the more likely your seedlings will survive, ...my first time i popped 30 beans and managed to kill them all within 2 weeks.

...which is why i always urge new growers to climb this particular learning curve using free bagseeds rather than store-bought genetics.

...you should also consider that this isn't a new question and so it has been asked and answered MANY times before this and if you go hunting though some of the older threads on similar topics you will quickly recognize good info as opposed to well-meaning balogna coming from other new growers who parrot what they have heard.

anyway, through much trial and error i now sow my seeds directly into solo cups filled with straight coco and i use another cup taped above as a temporary humidity dome that is removed as soon as the seedling emerges from the coco.

...once they emerge and lose their hats they go down below where there are 2 pc fans blowing air onto the little ones, having air gently blowing on them helps to promote stronger, healthier stems.

...now this is after about 10 or 12 days and you can clearly see they are still too fragile for up-potting.

justanotherbozo-526247-albums-cabs-picture2822551-dsci0087.jpg

...and here is about a week later where you can see the beginnings of lateral growth and if you look closely you can see that the stem is actually thinner below that first set of leaves, the cotyledons i think they are called, ...this seedling is ready for up-potting and should be buried almost right up to those cotyledons because then roots will develop from that buried, skinny part of the stem, hell, it looks like you can actually see little white nubs on that lower portion of the stem, lol.

...so yeah, that might be 'mold' that you're seeing, it's hard to tell with the quality of your pictures, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

peace, bozo

Bozo, another reason why you seriously need to start a damn journal man. Get working on drafting up those seeds you just popped last week. It'll take 10 mins of your time everyday!!

dont make a bro beg!

...lol, i've been taking the pics and i've begun organizing them so i WILL get to it, ...you will note though that i do spend a fair bit of time helping new folks out and i like to share pictures and links and not just my tired bullshit, lol.

...i'm 22 days into my current cycle too so i expect i'll be sharing those pics as well, this way you can follow along and watch my bloom room fill with buddage, in real time as it were.

peace, bozo

Well we appreciate your knowledge. So keeping helping us nubs out and I'm fucking stoked to subscribe whenever it's up and running!! My new seeds, that 1 I told you was taking off like mad is looking even better while the other 4 have stretched a tad from the soil but are still holdin onto the shells. It's frustrating my impatient ass. I'm like sitting in front of them with tweezers but stopping myself because you tell me to be patient lol.
