My recent grows are not that great like my first grow.

Hi,

my first grow was quite awesome.
I was very satisfied with the result.

I used:
11L pots
Sylvania SHP-TS GroLux 600W - 2050K
Biobiz Light Mix
BioBizz Bio Grow
BioBizz Bio Bloom 1l
BioBizz Top Max 0,5l
BioBizz Bio Heaven 0,25l
BioBizz Root Juice 0,25l

Various feminized seeds from two less known seedbanks (Magus Genetics, Homegrown Fantaseeds)
Strains like White Widow,Northern Lights,Motavation,Double Dutch, Exile

During my grow all of these strains(8 plants) were lightly pollinated by Northern Lights (It could be pure male, or herm I am not sure because I had both in my growroom before I detected them and moved away)
That gave me like 80 - 100 seeds of mentioned strains pollinated by NL.

I started growing from them.

Second grow:

Used seeds produced during my first grow.
Using the same light from my first grow
Growing like 25 plants in much smaller pots (3 - 5L)
Experimenting with strictly 12/12 whole grow

Biobiz All Mix
This time using only
- BioBizz Bio Grow
- BioBizz Bio Bloom

Finished result was good but not great. While plants looked more healthy than plants during my first grow.
From that 25 plants maybe 3 or 4 had exceptional taste and high and could be compared to plants from my first grow.
Another 15 plants were average. With interesting light variants of smell and taste. But they were quite boring actually.
Rest of the plants were not good.

Third grow:
- 11L pots
- still same Sylvania SHP-TS GroLux 600W - 2050K from my first grow
- Plagron Light mix
- BioBizz Light mix
- IONIC® Soil nutrients pack from Growth Technology

All plants were growing pretty healthy. Not a single problem compared to my first grow. Harvested more Gs than my first grow.
From 12 plants 4 were pretty good and unique. Good high or taste. Rest was average but still there was some diversity.

I never had problems with yields. Yield is not problem at all.
But if I compare what I grow now to my first grow I think I downgraded few levels in term of taste and high.
It's good weed. But not that great like first grow.

Now I'm wondering where is my problem?

Genetics?
Old light?
Nutrients? I used BioHeaven with TopMax only my first grow. It's expensive. Could it affect high and taste so much?

U mentioned this is your fourth cycle on the bulb correct. Me and a lot of others use hortilux bulbs and don't run more than 2 rounds. That's just my .02 cents but if u think bulbs good KISS and try mimicking your first

Well I see even Hortilux bulbs are rated 24000 hours and you still change them a lot.
I'm going to order new bulb then.

I'm trying to keep it on low budget. So, please, if you think that i would benefit more from buying BioHeaven+TopMax or ordering seeds from seedbank. Let me know. Thanks

LoL…. I agree malicifice Barneys farm seeds sucknutz. But on the real CyberGanja you whent all the way on the 1st grow and way weaker missing 2 key Biobizz additives on the rest. Also your seeds are F1s and maybe not a solid compatible cross, those seeds could be giving you trouble finding a good phenotype also. Well I guess you just learned first hand that taking away good trace elements your plant craves will result in dramatic harvest reduction and quality. The Top Max is the jam I have done side by side comparison with cuttings that I was very familiar with and it is amazing the hard dense weight that it helps to pack on the last 4-5 weeks it chunks up nice. Add more carbs all the way through from week 4 on It will help with the plant becoming less leggy and the cells in the plant are more stimulated when they have sugars to enjoy, bringing out the resin production even more when used during veg all the way through bloom but flush and thats Sweet Raw or berry. Then you took away BioHeaven and that stuff has got all kinds of extras also made to enhance the plants energy or uptake of nutrients and there is .28%Cal and .2%Mag in it plus much more. I seriously recommend SuperThrive on your babies though, its awesome stuff from seed to bloom with so many vitamins and a secret award winning formula that just works amazing. These are things you have to be paying attention to and recording your results either in you head or Pics so you can build off your results. Im happy to have been very successful with this line, I have use all those products for years and alot of others and IMO Biobizz is Unbeatable coupled in with some extra carbs and not Molasses either. Its ok but a little too much for the plant to process as easily and it gives a funny flavor to me. The more refined for plant carbs are different and I have been very successful with using Sweet Raw or Berry. Ok I almost forgot Hygrozyme is a must in my garden with all the rest mentioned and my stuff gets huge bulky stems able to handle chunky buds which has never been beat IMO & In alot of other peoples opinion too.

Every time through is different for me.

Each seed will produce a somewhat different response to the natural environment.

And Bothers what we try, is so UN-natural it is a credit to nature that we can produce anything.

Definitely Doer Man thats why its smart to run the 12pk or take 25 seeds picking your best budding clones from that batch. It takes time but its worth it some people run through 300-400 seeds to find the best of the best pheno. I pick the best 2 or 3 depending on the variations I try to keep one favoring each side of my cross and then one thats the best 50/50 blend. Then I smoke them to the point of favoring usually just one and thats my keeper mom. And if my rooms environment is the same and my nutrients, then it will always be very very close to the same harvest. If not you are doing something different each time, or there is disease/ bugs infecting your plants. The point of a clone is to be uniform and exact copy of the Mom. No questions it will always be the same I have run the same I.S.S clone for 4 years and it was very predictable. But yep nature is easy to mimic but hard to replicate.

Don't forget the Adrenalin. Seriously your senses change. This the idea of Beginners Luck. I have it to a very frustrating level.

I've come to conclude out senses and abilities are there, naturally and quietly, but after the first time we begin to think too much.

Get back to the Inner Game of Ganja Grow. You can't really count on the taste. Your senses were more defined then. Now it's routine with no help from Adrenalin.

If you been using same bulb for 3 grows thats the problem gotta new bulb the hortilux says to change for optimial growth every 8 to9 months or for average every year I wood change bulb if u used same hps for three grows they lose intensity after time

And you can't really tell for a while, the part that dims out the fastest is the part we don't see brightness changes very well.

But when he changes to a fresh one he will be able to see the difference. :)

It IS the seeds. Your running random hermi seeds hoping for a perfect outcome . find good genetics. Keep a mother plant and clone from it. doesnt matter how badass you are, if your growing shit, it's going to turn out like shit.

The only changing factor is genetics, and pot size. Your problem then lies in one of these two factors. Less light will not make the difference you describe. Pot size will mostly influence individual yield per plant. Frankly, it is shit genetics. You went from well tested released gear by good breeders to, no offence, perpetuating your original fuck up. It is fun popping home made beans. But there is a reason we pay for good ones. Your last two runs are that reason.
