i was googling some stuff the other day and saw some of my posts from this site and others. how do i stop that or can i. i dont need every tom dick and harry reading it. members only

You can't stop it (unless you stop posting) RIU has to stop it from their end... AND THEY SHOULD! IMO our forum posts should NOT be available to search engines!

Another forum I belong to (not a MJ forum) also had this issue.... took them a few months to get the shit locked down right so that forum posts were not available to search engines.

So if someone is googling a problem, possibly the same problem that you are having why deny them of the answer, the only reason people will see your posts come up is if they type in something specific.
