My Poor Girl, Mold/Bud Rot? Please Help!

I had 2 girls growing, special kush from royal queens, in modified waterfarms. First harvest already curing, 2nd one was seeming to take awhile longer. Went in to check this morning and it didn't smell like bud in the room, just *off. Check the main colas and this is what I found =(. So disappointed in myself, can someone help me diagnose so I can fix whatever I did wrong? I have 2 pics, I will have more later when I get access to a better camera. I did have spidermites, could those have ruined the buds? temps around 75-80, rh 30-40%

Could anyone recommend a strain that is mite/mould resistant? Lambo from Thseeds looked tempting.

just cut off the mouldy bit if possible and then, just smoke it . it should survive and maybe if it starts to drop, give it some ferts (it isnt recommended but it could help your plant)

dang I guess if I was tafbang with a stupid picnic basket balanced below my ceiling lights I would've gotten 100 pages of answers =/
