these are random bagseed from texas dirt weed. their sisters are sprouting in hydroponic mediums with greater success so i'm convinced that this has something to do with the cheap miracle gro potting soil i put these in. a week into life, they should be a lot fuller. instead they look frail and papery. every 24 hours you usually notice big differences in size but these last 24 one seemed to have stopped and the other seems like she's thinkin about it.

im thinking of switching these plants to a hydro but im afraid of them dying from the shock. am i overreacting? its just that these plants seem so small for their age. i dunno....

You will get a bigger lag time between seedling and vegetative growth with dirt than you do hydro. The plant will focus on establishing a strong root growth b4 focusing energy to the top of the plant

oops... i sorta got impatient and transplanted it to hydro. they turned a super dark green after i did that.... i was pretty rough with them too. the roots were spindly and weak. they had spread all the way to the bottom of the cup and started making their way up and around the sides.

anyways, now we just wait to see if they take in the hydro medium. lets keep our fingers crossed! if not i got about five seedlings ready to go into my dwc just as soon as the water is ready.

They should be fine. Just keep watch on your ph and water temps. The stabler you keep the water temp the less ph fluctuation you have, hence better nutrient uptake by your plants. = happy girls=nice buds
