My Plants Are Dying

Hey guys, I just recently switched over 10 plants from soil to a DWC system yesterday. These plants were grown both indoors and out for about 3 weeks due to us not having enough room in our current box. They are currently about 9 inches tall, with very few side branches. These plants can only grow to a maximum height of 2 feet also. So, should i cut these plants in half and let them side branch before they flower, or just try and flower.. By the way, i also have a co2 system to speed up the growing process a little bit. Please let me know..
