My planting tip for 16oz cups.

im genuinely shocked at some of these pics. They are awesome man keep it up. I might have to try something like this on my next grow.

Might just have a few dotted round my grow tent whilst growing my bigger plants!

great idea..hopes everything works out
it will save a great amount of space and this is great for an sog setup

You can watch roots without light harming them.

You can use diff colors (I use red and blue) to help keep track of the plants.

another thing i learned, instead of using differnt colors. you could number all your plants.. so u could keep track of it that way. and in the long run it will tell you how many plants u have grown too

Yep good idea thats why I already do that. But thanks for pointing that out to others as we are all stoners so all help is good.
 
Hope you don't mind me posting this in your thread, but no point in starting another.

As you know I'm doing the same type of grow as you. Instead of using the 16oz cups I decided to use 1 quart paint buckets I picked up at wal mart for .79 cent each. You can see the roots and its simple to tell when you've given them enough water. I don't have any pics other than these. I can take more at 11 when my lights come on. My plants just shot up the last few days. I was getting skeptical of this method until the other day. Now I'm liking it.
 
Here is an update on the cups at day 42.

These are with in a day or two in age. They are two diff strains.
 
Great idea, no need to paint them black, people use red solo cups everyday and i have never seen one painted black
