Personally I wouldn't veg and bloom using the same light, unless they were autoflower and I didn't need a big harvest, then it wouldn't matter.

More light for sure and maybe even a white LED bulb for the green wavelengths. JMO

What medium and nutes are you using? And the best way for me to really learn and get a handle on stuff is do some experimenting myself after researching. I make plenty of mistakes.

Well G'Day Mate. For your first successful plant you shouldn't be disappointed even though it could of vegged longer. You will learn a lot during the whole process, and will see how the buds fatten as they ripen. Your next grow will thank you for it.

I've got to agree. Some people learn best by doing, not reading or watching videos. My only advice is to keep a grow journal if you are going to experiment. Another thing is that I think that it is better to under water than overwater your plants. Just don't let the leaves droop too much, and for too long. There are several different growing methods, and many different styles of plant manipulation and propagation. Not to mention the different mediums and nutes! Sheez! Just do what you enjoy and works for you.
