So I have this female plant. She is about 12" tall and I just want to keep her alive during the winter and put her in the ground next spring. Can I just keep her by the window? She hasn't grown a all in the past few months, but seems healthy.

ya sure, just give it attention and make sure it has enough light. might want to put it outside during day for sunlight if not too cold outside..:leaf:
should be planted in spring, keep in mind that's a good three months from now. i'd recommend just finishing it off inside. even under some cfl's if u have too:idea:. 12'' is perfect height to flower inside. if u grow it outside you'll have to wait all year until SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER/NOVEMBER to harvest!!!!!!!:shock::shock: up to u but that's a loooong time from now.

I would get a small grow room like a closet or something and set up a CFL veg. Keep the plant in a 5 gallon pot so when it gets to a certain height it will slow down and possibly stop from being root bound. Just make sure you keep it green and healthy. In the spring I would then transplant it outside and all of the months up to the fall it will do some additional veg. growing which will create a huge plant. Then when it starts to naturally flower you will have an absolute giant with a mind blowing yield. It will take a while but it would be so worth it. Good luck..
