i have a very nice and healthy female, shes about 3 months old. i threw her into flowering, everything was going normal, 5 days after throwing her into 12/12 i accidentally left the light on for an extra 6 hours. it had developed new pistils/hairs on all the nodes during these 5 days, but ever since the lighting got messed up it hasn't advanced any. its been almost 2 weeks, its still very healthy but nothing is going on... does anyone know how long it will be until she starts flowering normally???

Any light leaks? Are you mainining the integrity of your dark period, i.e. no checking progress during lights out? In my experience, as long as you go right back to a full dark period when commiting light out mistakes, the plant will stay in flowering. Did you do a full 12/12 after discovering the extra light on time? That means switching your old schedule to a new one...

i tried just throwing it back into the regular 12/12 schedule immediately after the extra 6 hours, after a week of nothing happening i tried keeping it back on 24 hours light for 2 days, then back into 12/12. stilll nothing happening.. theres no light leaks, i dont mess with it when shes in the dark, but shes been growing leaves asymetrically which tells me shes still in flowering. start a new light schedule? how exactly should i go about this?
ive never heard of 11/13, i may have to give it a try. would i keep it under this schedule for the rest of the flowering cycle?

thanks for the help.

You might try 36 hrs dark , then 12/12 like many do when kick-starting flowering. But I would hate for it to hermie.

i thought about it, its already had 2 days of light after this happened, which i was really hesitant about doing.. i guess ill give it a few more days, if it doesnt change i guess ill have to try the 36 hrs dark... it acts exactly like a regular flowering plant, the way the leaves grow, the smell, the pistils are even changing color. theres just no budding going on?

Put it on 12/12 and leave it alone. The rapid, photo-period changes can lead to hermaphroditic flowering (not good). This is classic impatience from a new grower. Give her all the time she wants.

The 48 hours of light ruined flowering and the plant went back to veg, so flowering started over when you went back to a hard 12/12, complete with a two week stretch where there is no pistillate growth. Be patient...

thank you very much, smokinrav.

I kept her at 12/12, if im not mistaken she's going back to normal.looks like theres new pistils at the very top.
