Weather it works or not smokin out of pvc plastic is a real bad idea for obvious reasons.

A real pipe that wont release toxic plastic resin into your lungs only costs $5 .

I realize that but like s|ean said how could pvc be bad if ur not touching the flame/heat to the plastic just to the sculpy putty (says non toxic on the box)

I left the pipe in my friends truck who is in highschool and he got busted the next day at school. I also left a fair 4 grams in a little mint can too.

lol, im not worried about it though. We named that pipe the shot gun because as soon as you put the lighter to the bowel you get a huge hit. I didnt use a real screen, but i liked it though. Very quick hitter

How is it bad,are you kidding me ??

Standard pvc pipe is meant to have water in it at reasonable temps, think about this for a second, how hot is the tip of a lighter flame, now how much heat is going through the pipe.

If you wanted to you could look up the MSDS sheet on pvc pipe to see the exact temp that toxins are released, melting or burning of the plastic is not needed to release chemicals.

C'mon guys, think for a sec, when they say non toxic they are talking about normal conditions.

Sheesh,i cant believe not one but two people cant see why smoking out of pvc pipe is bad.

Heres a MSDS sheet on pvc, read where it says this statement.

Thermal decomposition may result in release of TOXIC airborne contaminents.
