this was my first cross pollinating and now i have a new strain to grow.....:weed:

both were started with seeds from NIRVANA.

female NL (very indica) x male Papaya (60/40) indica/sativa.

4 weeks into flower i covered the top half of the NL (f) and dusted her lower with the (m) Papaya pollen...:hump:

so at harvest i was left with nice bud and 50 seeds. i will back cross this with the best (m) Northern Papaya x (f) Papaya.

o.k., lets see how these 20 will do for now.....

good choice of cross my friend, NL for stability ,strength and disease resistant crossed with good inside plant, great taste, and huge buds.

reckon you could be on a winner.

thanks matt, thanks david.

i took the first female to show pre flowers out last night and turned the lights to 12/12. i will use her for a future mom and back cross her with some of the clones.

i also will keep the best looking male from this batch.
:peace:

i say change the name bro...

papaya's lights

hahah or something

i bet you that shit will be some killa shit

i want some seeds

i got some papaya growing is it any good has it got a strong indica stone
where did you get your seeds ?
the smoke is killer, very couch lock. i have a friend who grows white russian and some kush strains and he likes the papaya more.

here is a quote from NIRVANAS PAPAYA........Papaya is a fast growing, disease resistant, and usually early maturing strain. Papaya is a heavy, greasy indica staying low and dense, very suitable for sea of green gardens. Papaya has an exotic tropical aroma that reminds one of the scent of whiskey pipe tobacco. The buzz from our papaya is lethargic, almost narcotic.
  • Plant type: Best suitable for indoor growing.
  • Plant height: Short- Mostly Indica
  • Stoned or high?: Stoned- Indica Body Buzz
  • THC level: Strong 15-20%
  • Flowering Weeks: 7/9
  • Yield (Sea of Green on one m2) : 350-450
  • Harvest Month: 9/10
  • Grow difficulty: Moderate
great! let me know how it turns out!

happy growing!!!
thank you i will

I got nirvanas papaya and cant wait to taste it the stronger the better for me

11 males.........not to bad.

so out of 24 total, (4 extras i had under the fluors) 11 males/13 females. i kept 2 females for moms and one male for pollen.

that makes a total of 11 in flower under the 600hps......

here are a few pics of the flower room with a Papaya mom and other NL's along with the new Northern Papaya.

:peace:

feeding - fox farm nutes and ocean forest soil.

i also started some LST on one of the moms to compare the difference in the two as they mature.

1. NL

2. Papaya

3. "JobSite Queen"...this is a sativa strain that was roled, smoked and then started to grow from seed on the jobsite.. brought home and now grown indoors.
