I know my biggest girl is only 5.6ft tall and she is jus beautiful the coloring is so dark it's crazy! By far the darkest deepest green I seem on a plant before. I couldn imaging another 2 feet on that plus however wide.

I have one girl with a similar dark purple stalk, do you find your new growth tips are purple at the base of the leaf too? She is a Gen 2 crossed from a male and female last year of what I was told was a NL#5 x (unknown) Skunk. I'm still trying to narrow down what they actually are, they are really decent meds, nice flavour and respectable yield I'd just like to be able to reference some sort of lineage.

yeah i do, the entire stock transitions between striped purple on green, to complete purple. The shade leaf stems are completely purple, along with their veins. All the shade leafs are dark and healthy. Now being in bloom many of the lower leafs are turning to yellow over time, but a couple shade leafs on top are yelllow with a complete dye of purple developing on the back and tips of those leaves. The bud is developing rapidly, already producing sweet smelling terpenes.

I 2nd that balzac89... greenskrillex is talking out his ass, when a plant is showing no obvious signs of ''issues'' and purples on the stem its probably genetics. Maybe you could elaborate on what good purple looks like?? Your cross looks good to me my friend keep up the good work.

thats not good purp on the stem. youve got some issues bud.
You sir have no clue what you are talking about. If he has issues then I do too, which is NOT the case. My girl (and the male with the same pheno) were like that from seed. It's obviously genetic, not a deficiency.

I personally think that mine look pretty healthy (,older pics shown they are in full flower now).

purpsmaster has a really nice healthy looking grow going.

Edit: I have had some yellowing of lower and inner fan leaves as well since flowering began but they haven't shown that beautiful purple that yours have. I'll continue to follow this thread.

1sttimeguy, your plant looks great, i love the inner purple developing in the new growth , whats the cross?
I wish I knew for sure. 2 of the seeds from last year showed this phenotype. The parents were both NL#5 (for sure) x Lemon Skunk (he thinks). Both parents last year showed purple stripes on the stalks and the male had purple stripes on the flowers
2012 male: IMAG0352.jpgIMAG0379.jpg

This year 2 of the 11 seeds I popped had full on purple stalks and the purple colour on the inners of the new growth, this years male had more purple on the flowers (no pics unfortunately but I did pollenate the pre flowers on the female before cutting down the male).

The only parentage I can be sure of is the NL#5, the Skunk is questionable.
