my outdoor grow in india (12 latitude)

10/10 seedlings of PNR

god knows how many indian seedlings haha...one thing i've found with the indian seedlings is they go through a much longer seedling stage during which growth seems slowed, but after the first 3 weeks, their roots are dense and they really begin to fly in terms of vegetative growth and outgrow their containers on a monthly basis, winding up in a ~30 litre container in the end. they fill up the roots in that too, but they do have a lot longer lifespan...the first 3 weeks are prevegetative (almost SOLELY root growth) next x weeks are vegetative (x depends on lighting, but x > 3) and following a change to 12/12 (more precisely, around 12:07/11:53, got a good average through many plants which started flowering (more calyxes, more pistils) on various days between aug 15th and sept 18, ranging between about 12:10 hours of light to 12:02 hours of light - i mention this because the most light we get is about 12:30 and they will NOT flower with that much light, at least all the south indian landraces from various latitudes between 14 and 0) they will begin to flower, a process that takes a thus far unknown number of weeks. i'm guessing around 20-24 weeks, my biggest one started flowering on sept 1st and i'd say it's about almost halfway there.

ALSO

i was going to buy organic nutrients regardless to compare them to my all organic grows. i was considering hesi and advanced, any suggestions? if hesi, i will be growing in coco, i feel the roots grow a lot better in coco and now include at least 50% coco peat in my mix

i'm also about to purchase seeds for kicks this december as it'll probably be the last time i can grow in india, seeing as how i'm likely moving out of the country in april for work, really unfortunate as i was hoping to be able to do a proper grow with several massive indian landrace trees starting in april and going on till the next feb or so...but that'll have to wait...

so back on topic, i was thinking of a lot of shit i could buy and basically with attitude i just need to buy for 35 pounds to get the 10 free seeds

here's what i was thinking, various options, various reasons

breeder - strain - reg/fem - quantity - price

1) mr.nice - shit - reg - 15 - 31.99
2) bomb seeds - hash bomb - reg - 10 - 16.99
3) sativa seeds - blackberry - reg - 10 - 19.99
4) sativa seeds - raspberry cough - reg - 10 - 19.99
5) dinafem - critical jack - fem - 5 - 35.99
6) dinafem - sweet deep grapefruit - fem - 3 - 18.99
7) dinafem - power kush - fem - 3 - 19.99
8) mandala - chill-OM - reg - 10 -19.99

so it goes without saying that i need a combination of some sort with most of those to get to 35 quid.
considering #1 and some other pick n mix seed for about 3 pounds cause MNS has good genetics and skunk is supposed to do well 12/12 from seed
hash bomb is certified by del, and if i use hesi nutes i'll be growing the same way he is but with sunlight \m/
sativa seeds, heard it's as reliable as nirvana, and i know raspberry cough's been around for years, and sativa strains are supposed to be good from 12/12
i've been wanting to try dinafem seeds ever since the first day i SERIOUSLY considered growing pot. it would be really satisfying to fulfill that haha
mandala, because it's mandala - reliable, quality, hardy. throw your ideas at me folks...

my economic mind and wallet are telling me to go for hash bomb and chill-OM, my raging creative sentimental side is telling me to go for critical jack
cause i'm getting 10 freebies + 4 regular UFO freebies + 2 dinafem WW freebies...i guess a meeting point in the middle would be to go for sweet deep
grapefruit and hash bomb? fuck my life, checking out attitude is like window shopping at the worlds biggest candy store

thanks but dinafem offers me no freebies, the only reason i'm buying is regardless of what i buy i stand to get 14 free seeds if my order is at least 35 pounds.

if you want to try some nice indica strains, give papaya a go...also would advise you to try hashberry by mandala...as well as blue widow by dinafem...

you either have ph problems or nutrient issues. could be pests as well, but i doubt it, i can't give you details without a closer picture...i'll put up a landrace gallery alone when she gets a bit better, she's still a bit low on N and K i think so we'll see....probably gonna be hesi coco looking forward to that shit...also will do the landrace shit when i get my friend's camera again

so here's the landrace, couldn't wait for friend's camera, cause something's
been up with it for more than a month now and i can't fucking figure it out. it doesn't
get worse but it doesn't get better, flushing doesn't solve the problem, i figure flushing
doesn't do much in organic soil grows anyways...but can someone take a look and
temme what the fuckk is wrong?

She's hungry for P and K mostly K I think, If its been real hot there I would say give her some K. An easy way to add K is Hardwood ashes, just water them in. Looks nice I bet it will be really potent.

I know its convenient to order but since your right there don't you think maybe taking a drive up into Kashmire you might just find plenty of Indicas growing wild, just a thought. Or shit for that matter a little hiking trip through Manala would be even closer and you know there is plenty of indica around there.

first things first, I'd love an opportunity to do that, but I have no time to go there. i'd love to go and pick up landstrain seeds from there. it's just not feasible atm.

thanks for the advice, any quick organic way of adding P?

Bonemeal or chicken poo are best for quick organic P, though chicken also has quite a lot of N, which may make it unsuitable. Bonemeal is a little slower acting in your soil, though you can get some out quickly if you leave it to aerate in a tea for 24-48 hrs. (though some disagree with this since bone is not water soluble, but the point is you add molasses and kelp etc to encourage bacteria to break down the bone into the tea)

Found a fucking praying mantis on my plants, how crazy is that, i even
took a discovery channel style video of her moving around. so that's why
i haven't seen any ants on my biggest plant in a week or so...
predatory creatures ftw, did what neem oil spray, tobacco spray, turmeric
spray, chilli powder spray, and a combination of them all couldnt

@elchupacabra ...

i can atleast see pistils protruding off you plant, the landrace..
when do u think mine will do such.... there are 1-2mm calyxes at each internode now in the sub branches, ie, branches that form off the main stem containing single fan leaves.
the ones at the main node are close to 1cm, their 2-3mm pistils have browned out and they too are browning at the tips, as if dying.

info :the plant is not deficient in any sense, no yellowing of leaves, no burnt tips, nothing. The only problem is the flowering. Its december, it germinated in mid july.New Delhi.

2foot+ plant, 10 fully grown internodes, growing sub-internodes.

any ideas of light cycles ??? do street lamps intervene as ive read flowering needs complete darkness, and on the contrary when plants grow under CLS, MH and HPS why wud a bloody street light cause any problems, as the plant is not sensitive towards the frequency emanted by street light, guess they are simple high watt incadescents .

HELP ME OUT MY GROW BUDDY, no landrace growers around !

i've told you before, i'll say it again...i can't do anything without physically seeing
the plant, but i can try to help you out if you SHOW ME A PICTURE. preferably at night
time so i can tell you what type of light it is. it's highly unlikely that it's an incandescent
light...and i think you have quite a bit of reading to do about growing marijuana under
indoor lighting and outdoor light : ) read up a bit mate

Man, I was itching to place an order with attitude too because of that sweet deal but in the north we dont get 12/12 all year long and the window of flowering is only between late september to sometime near march.. Also jan n feb r unsuitable for growing because the temp falls too low.. Wish I had a grow room.. But there nothing to beat organics outdoors..
