Hey everyone. I thought I would post some pics of my first outdoor well first grow of any kind, lol. And thx to this site Ive learned enough to get this far, lol. I live in BC Canada on Vancouver island so spring has just hit. I started my girls indoors from bag seeds march 19th. I planted 19 seeds, 3 died the remaining 16 were all FEMALE. I topped a bunch and then moved them outside a couple weeks ago. Here are a couple pics. Feel free to comment. thx killer43

well hello everyone. its been 6 days shy of 2 months since I posted a update on my outdoor grow. As stated this is my first grow. Im growing 19 bag seeds some indica some sativa heavy strains as well as 6 kushberry/k2 girls. There growing in 10g-20 gallon pots most in larger size tubs. Tallest plant is about 9 foot tall now for the sativas and I have a 8 foot indica that's just massive. the kushberry plants are about 4 foot tall but round as heck. but here are a few pics. the first 3 are a pan around my yard, the fourth is my tallest sativa. I put my backdoor in the frame so you have some size comparisons. the fifth pic is my king sized Indica plant. Let me know what you all think. thx, killer. PS these pics were taken at dusk so there all a bit droopy.

not one of the original bag seeds ever grew balls! I cant explain that one. I guess they were either feminized, hermied or just blind ass luck, lol.

Holy shit dude I really envy you and your grow spot.
I have a nice yard and great neighbors who dont care I grow. I have my license but they could still make trouble and dont. There has been grass grown in this yard for last 5 years with no busts or rip offs. I keep my fingers crossed for my first grow outdoors going off without a hitch. Pretty soon people will be able to see them from the road when they drive by my house as my girls get so tall they peek there heads up over my roof, lol. Im building a 14 foot high framework out of 2x4's this weekend to use to tie strings down to hold branches heavy in bud and to also use as a rain cover by putting plastic over framework. Ive found a large number of my girls are heavy sativa strains so im expecting a bit later harvest and dont want the rain and moisture to ruin the bud before I have a chance to harvest. the kush plants should finish long before the rains but we will see. I do live in BC Canada where if you dont like the weather just wait 10 mins and it will change, lol. ttys all soon, killer.

They really exploded!
Is there any particular reason you didn't put them in the ground?

I have a very small enclosed yard. Half of my grow area is on the concrete patio and the other half is on the grass. Im renting and my landlord refused to allow me to dig any holes in the grass, lol. So pot in pots was my only option.

lol, i took a double take when i saw shitty soil, i disagree completely. promix and sunshine 4 are great for growing. I control my feeding and what I use, when I want too, not my soil.

yes so very true. I played with my soil when I started out and found that the pro mix4 allowed me to feed without the soils added slow release nutes screwing up my girls. I used a potting soil with added ferts on a few of my girls and there growing fine. but they burn a bit every time I feed them additional food and also the soil dries and shrinks and doesn't hold water anywhere near as long as the promix. Plus it is so much lighter than soil, lol. I can move my pots around without a hernia, lol. killer.
