The strains I got were the Dutch Passion Indoor Mixes, which include Orange Bud, Blueberry, Skunk #11, White Widow, Mazar, Power Plant. I also got DinaFem Shark Attack and five of the Kanabia Specials.

Some of the stuff that I really wanted just wasnt in stock, I know most of the ones I did get are probabably considered old and boring strains to many but I've never had the pleasure of seeing them or growing them or smoking them so I'm happy with them for the time being.

That pretty much sums it up, it was stuff that I had read about and seen in Hightimes many many years ago. I always wanted to have some of it.

That points out that all things are relative. Old school strains to me are the old landrace strains of the 60's and early to mid 70's, before crosses started showing up, and anything from the beginning of the era of 'The Dutch Masters' until today all seem like they are still pretty new school to me.

Damn I'm getting old!

I actually consider myself having been spoiled more in the olden days than now. So many strains today are almost the same darn thing that one quarter to one third of them could vanish from the face of the planet and nothing would really be lost because there would still be a number more that are so much like them that no one would actually lose anything.

I'd just about trade my left nut for some viable seeds from a handful of the pure landrace strains of the past, and if I could get some I would keep mothers and almost never spend another penny on anything from 'The Dutch Masters.'

Brick Top - you should check out http://mandalaseeds.com/Catalogue, They still do the splicing, but they boast that "all of their crosses come from their 'heirloom landrace' oldschool genetics". I haven't tested them, but did spend some time on their site a while back.

Hang in there guy you will get them i ordered on dec 23 and got them on the 3rd jan 2011 and this is with all the holiday crap and bad weather i was the same way very impatient and checked tracking twice a day but there is a place on the usps site where you can elect to have automatic progress reports sent to your e-mail which i did and it was very accurate right to the day of delivery. the thing to rememberis that updates are done after midnight each day and very early am usually when major distrubution is done. From experiance i can tell you that when your order arrives in JFK it will be sent to Jamaica,NY (customs processing) and then sent out from there until then it is in holding or transit to the united states by whichever mode of transportation was available (the way it looks now your order was put on a ship for transit )as long as you keep getting the origin post is preparing notice it is in transit between UK and the US i occupied my waiting time researching any avenue i could to understand what was going on with my order. Helpful hint do a search using the notice as your search topic and you will find lots of info anyway usps is very quick about its updates when shipments actually reach the US. Royal Mail is very slow on the other hand and stop tracking once it passed to overseas post for delivery hope this helps you out
