my new setup/grow...from start to finish..

hi all.
in this journal i'm going to document my grow from start to finish. starting with the building of the cab (not ready yet), and every step i'm going to take to completing a successful grow (i hope

).
this is my second time growing so i already had some equipment nut most of the things are new. i'm upgrading from a 400w hps to a 600w :-o

list of things.
600w hps/mh with 6"cooltube
6" exhaust fan
4" intake fan
6" rhino pro filter
ona gel
acoustic foam
ect..

my plan is to grow 4 plants scrog style in a 1m2 space. my medium is going to be soil and nutes root excelurator and fox farm trio solubles.

here is where i got so far. feel free to comment and ask questions.

my yield from my last grow was about 150g dried but thats no accurate answer for i never weighted them but it was a good yield as i'v been smokin them for the last 9 months :joint:

today i want to continue my cab. i will be adding 4 more pieces of wood vertically so the frame will be more sturdy for when hanging the lights, fan and filter . i also want to start making holes in the top and side of plywood for exhaust and intake.

my goal is that in a weeks or 2 time the cab will be up and running so hang in there ppl and lets make this journal a learning experience for anyone reading it. this is the reason i started with the building of the cab as i enjoy building and designing as much as growing.

how safe is it to order seeds online ? i know i probable don't have to worry cause i never heard about someone's seeds being found by customs. but still i have this paranoia and thoughts :sad:

i was thinking about ordering nirvana's ak48 and master kush. what are your thoughts about this seedbank and seeds ? would you recommend something different :?:

today i screwed 3 pieces of 2by2 on 3 sides of the frame, thus making the frame more sturdy.

after taking a look at attitude's seeds i became confused what seeds to get :wall:

Sigh, there are many way better strains out there than Nirvana.... I have grown Ak-48 from Nirvana and I topped it. You'll get some big buds off it, not necessarily the best smoke though.

yeah thats what i was thinking yesterday, that i probably rushed to much into buying. should have taken more time to chose better breeder and strain :/ fuck it now those are the seeds i'm going to get and grow cause i already spent a lot of money on other things.

hi all
today i finished some more work :mrgreen:

-made 4" hole for air intake
-rest for carbon filter on top
-hanger for light
-"feet" for less friction if need to move
-began makin screen last pic

things still need to be done:
-apply silicon in gaps so it would be air tight
-paint all white
-put rubber on door edges
-secure handles in place.
-6" hole for exhaust

i want to finish the cab by the end of this week, so when seeds arrive i can germinate 2 of each strain and let the fun begin bongsmilie

edit. if you noticed i still have two openings in the cab, those will both be doors so i can easily train the plants under the screen.

today i filled in any gaps with silcon and gave the cab it's first coat of "brilliant white" paint. tomorrow i give it the 2nd and hopefully final coat. i will be also fixing rubber on the edges of the door so it hopefully be airtight or almost ;-)

things that still need to be done:
- 2nd coat white paint
- put rubber on door edges
- secure handles in place.
- 6" hole for exhaust

hi ppl

today i got more work done
-6" exhaust hole ( on top )
-2nd coat paint
-painted inside of doors
-put rubber on edges of door (one side)

things left to do:
-put rubber on other side of door
-secure handles
-fix doors in place

Also my seeds arrived ! very fast shipping and amazing stealth :shock:

And today i switched on the 600hps for the first time. that shit is bright and hot !!! :shock:

overall i'm pleased with the progress and very eager to grow some amazing bud :fire:
