Great little space. Happy growing!

edit: if you don't mind me asking, what did you use to sheet the frame?

Ya know what Guys,
a couple of years ago i couldn't knock a fuckin' nail in straight,no Carpentry experience at all.Now i built this out of wood! Shocked myself really, had no plans, just looking for tips on-line and took my time, common sense i guess.

No, i don't mind at all Jay,ask what ya like mate.I brought 14mm Chipboard, one very large sheet cut to size,i only cost 7 Quid,so well pleased!
Chipboard was the cheapest, though a bit of a pig to cut!..lol. The Grow room is now Artexed and painted, fits in nicely with the room,so the Mrs is a bit happier now! Thank God!!!..lol

Before you do the finish trim it would be a good idea to decide what you are going to do about air circulation.
I don't see a ceiling exhaust vent. Where you planning on getting by with a fan? Tough to use a ceiling fan with that
weird shape, eh? Ideally you want to be able to close and lock that door without smothercating the garden. How are
you planning on moving air with the door closed?

Hi Steve,
well, your right ,it is a weird shape room, the ceiling anyway, bit of a pain in the ass really.I want to put a 5 inch Ruck exhaust Fan with Rhino Filter in the Apex of the ceiling, the short wall you see on the Left is false and goes straight into the main Attic space,i will put a hole in that and exhaust through there with ducting. Then i will put a vent on the panel to the Left of the door for passive intake,i will then put in a couple of 'regular' fans to push the air around a bit.

Great way to utilize the space! haha...but definitely think about ventilation. Some intake and exhaust vent cutout would be a great idea right now since you're in the beginning stage of your build. Keep up the good work!

I was going to ask about venting also but you already answered that question. Nice little space you got there. Before starting your grow you might want to get a good feel for the humidity in that space since it seems to be in a basement corner. You could have some mold/mildew issues if you can't keep the humidity levels down.

Just a thought.......

It's not a basement,i wish it was! It's in an Attic room and the room can get warm in the Summer, but there's a window 2 meters away from the door of the grow room itself.Mind you, talking of Summer,we don't get much of those in England,a couple of sunny days here n there if we're lucky!..lol
A few years ago i was lucky enough to visit the U.S[Pensacola] and noticed basements in houses are very popular there, great growing places below ground. In England the only houses with basements are the BIG expensive kinds, for people with money!....unlike me..lol
