Hi guys,

I would like any advice or experience growing the following !

I picked these babies up hoping to find myself some nice pheno's within and now mission find my mom's begins.

I have the following strains :-P (every bean so far has cracked):

Barneys Farm :leaf: Pineapple Chunk x 5 cracked and in 1 litre air pots
Barneys Farm :leaf: Violator Kush x 5 cracked and in 1 litre air pots
Ministry of Cannabis :leaf: Northern Lights x 5 Cracked in 1 litre air pots
Nirvana :leaf: AK-48 x 5 Cracked in 1 litre air pots
Dutch Passion :leaf: Strawberry Cough x 5 yet to be cracked
World of Seeds Diamond Line :leaf: High Tension x 7 yet to be cracked
Barneys Farm :leaf: Laughing Buddha x 5 yet to be cracked

I am hoping within these seeds to find between 2 and 7 mothers to see me through a large chunk of my future grows.

I also have an excellent Mr Nice Critical mass mother who has just produced 17 cuttings ( in an X-stream prop) and I already have 6 of these in flower at the moment.

I am currently smoking a load of bagseed :wall: I cropped recently its pretty damn tasty and sugar coated and I am very happy with it indeed !

I am growing in soil (mixture of biobizz all mix, Gold label special mix with additional perlite but I am also going to start using around 40 percent house and garden light mix for repotting plants going into flower (more control on the nutes front)).

I have a wide selection of nutrients I have built up but the most recent ones and the ones I am currently running are the full House and Garden soil AB range this consists of :o :

House and Garden Soil A/B
House and Garden Multienzyme
House and Garden Bud XL
House and Garden Top Booster
House and Garden Roots Excellurator
House and Garden Shooting Powder
House and Garden Drip Clean
House and Garden Magic Green
House and Garden Bacto Force (on order)

The other nutrients I have to fall back on are :
Biobizz Bio Grow
Biobizz Bio Bloom
Biobizz Bioheaven
Canna Rhizotonic
Vitalink Plant Start
Advanced Nutrients Overdrive
Advanced Nutrients Sensizym
Epsom Salts

Other bits and bats :

Essentials wetting agent
Gnat off
Plant Vitality +
Halo Alpha Beta Harpin Protein
Garden Lime
Clonex
Root Riots
Rockwool Cubes
Bluelab EC Truncheon
Essentials PH meter and Buffer 7
Canna Actrivator (trichaderma) - I am yet to try this
Plant Magic Granules (Micorrhizal fungi or however you spell it) - I am yet to try this

I have two seperate areas a very small box/cab for vegging with a 250 watt blue CFL and a budbox xxl with two air cooled supernova 600's all on a temperature controller.

The tent currently has 6 critical mass in 10 litre buckets (way to small at the moment) I am looking to switch these to 15 or 20 litre air pots and input on what size to use would be appreciated.

The vegging box currently contains the 20 seedlings, 17 Critical mass cuttings in the x-stream prop and my very sorry looking critical mass mother.

Pics incoming (I need a camera).

I hope you enjoy the start of my mission and I hope you will stick around for the ride.

I like it too ;)

Its taken a lot of trial and error to learn my way around them but now I use the house and garden stuff mostly and use the others to top up when somethings not right :)

I have grown plants (not necessarily this variety) all my life and recently I cracked a seed I found in a bag. then cracked a few more vegging them in my conservatory.

Then bought a 250 watt blue CFL, then two red 250 watt CFL's then fans, nutrients. Then the Budbox xxl with one light. Then two. Then added air cooling. The green I am smoking at the moment is all from that bagseed. Some people told me that it was the best they had smoked, I am a cynic and I have been to amsterdam but it inspired me.

I wondered if I could grow something like that, this is where my quest began.

Enjoy guys !

Ok so the story so far for the Critical Mass goes like this.

Got 10 very bad looking cuttings from a very dodgy man but saw the mother, seed packet and his flowering room and they seemed legit so I took them. He said because they were in such bad condition at least two would die so only to pay 80 quid for them. They were in root riots and three died leaving me with 7, now healthy plants.

I gave them a few days to actually take root in the riots and then moved them to 50 percent bio bizz and 50 percent gold label special mix in a 10 litre pot. They were vegged for about 3-4 weeks (maybe more maybe less) from tiny sickly cuttings then 6 were put into flower and one was kept for a mother.

The mother has been given a little bio grow, a little bio heaven and a little roots excel but that is all.

The critical mass in the tent were put into flower approximately a week before the 30/8/2011 and were fed :

Tap water left for 36 hours EC .2/.3
3 ml of soil AB
.3 ml of roots excel
1 ml of multizyme

EC 1.3 with a PH of 6.7

The runoff from the pot was PH 6.7 EC 2.4 showing that there were still some nutrients left in the soil and mild tip burn and dark green leaves with slightly purple stems onset. This is not to say that they were not healthy and growth was not vigorous because they were quite the opposite.

In the mean time I spoke to someone on the forums (thank you unnamed grower I cant remember your tag I am sorry) and spoke to a house and garden rep who said I should be running my PH for the house and garden range much lower more like 5.8 - 6.2 max 6.3.

They were then just kept on ph 6.2 water for a little while. I kept checking the water and on the 6th the run off was EC 2.2 with PH 6.3 - 6.4. They were given a folair feeding of magic green at in this time.

Then the EC dropped off quite quickly as they started to fatted up a little and I decided another feed was in order on 13/09/2011

Tap water left for 36 hours EC .2/.3
3.5 ml of soil AB
.3 ml of roots excel
1 ml of multizyme
0.1ml of drip clean

EC 1.5 and I dropped the PH to 6.1 to bring it inline with the suggested values on the forums and by the house and garden rep.

The runoff came out at 1.6 (Brilliant I thought - pretty much exactly where I want it) and the PH at 6.4 / 6.5 Almost where I want it.

They are still drying off from this feed and will probably get water tomorrow so I can measure the runoff.

The Cuttings I took from the mother are in the X-stream with water PH 6.1 with a water heater in the water with the sprinklers turned off. The seeds were kept in a heated prop in root riots until showing leaves then transplanted into 40 percent bio bizz all mix 40 percent gold label special mix and 20 percent perlite in 1 litre air pots.

I am debating a foliar of HALO for the critial mass ? Any tips on this one I really like what HALO does and I think it would be good for them but I am wary since I am already running them quite hot.

Any input is always appreciated as the wisdom of masses is better than mine :)

World of Seeds Diamond Line High Tension marijuana is Colombian Mangobiche and a stabilized hybrid of Orange Bud, Black Domina and Jack Herer. She just can't disappoint you with such ancestors. The highest qualities of the three champions of various cannabis cups have been put together in High Tension feminized seed. An ability to give excellent performance both indoors and outdoors and a deliciously zesty flavour from Orange Bud, high tolerance to irrigation and resistance to diseases from Black Domina, and strongest narcotic effects from Jack Herer are just few characteristics of this cannabis presented by World of Seed industry.

Feminized cannabis seeds of World of Seeds are all hand selected and thoroughly tested for high qualities; almost 80% of germination is guaranteed. They produce strong sativa looking marijuana plants with shiny dark green foliage. Being 70% sativa, the plants can reach their maximum high (1,3 m.) within 8-10 weeks. It's recommended to tip the tops of High Tension during the maturing period. It will prevent them from overgrowing and increase the yield. Indoors harvest lasts 9 weeks with a usual yield as high as 300-500 gr. per plant. When grown outdoors, High Tension from feminized seeds is ready at the end of September; you can get as much as 400-500 gr. per plant.
High Tension has an excellent leave to bud ratio - her buds are not overcrowded with the leaves and have enough space and light to fully mature. When completely developed, they get an orange shade in their hair, reminding us about their Columbian citrus blood. They are covered with sticky glittery crystals full of THC that looks like they are "rolled in sugar". High percent of THC (15-20%) gives this marijuana great medical value as a part of effective treatments against depressions. The effect is described high energetic, uplifting and giggly.
