My Mothers are getting Restless!!

I have about 7 mothers in my cabinet right now and they are growing like mad, since there are so many and my flowering space is limited, i can only afford to cut a few clones at a time from each.

my question is, is it better to train the mothers and tie them down or just trim and cut where necessary to maintain them? Thanks!
