Those Eco friendly lights would be cfl's
And make sure you get either the 6500k or 5500k for veg and the 2700k for flower.

If you want any big buds at all... i'd save up and get at least a 150W hps setup. just to suppliment your CFL's. PM me if you dont understand about HID lighting its all I use in the winter.

Good luck on your first try. Make sure that the "dull" side of the foil is pointing at the plants. It actually reflects more then the shiney side

Are you makin a grow box and putting it in your attic?
Regardless your gonna need a fan of some sort, preferably an oscillating fan, obviously some seeds, pots(some people grow out of solo cups, but I don't recommend it) soil, I wouldn't really worry about nuts on your first run unless your doing more then one plant.

i have a sack of about 50 bagseeds. I got a decent fan. Oh and im not gonna use the tinfoil. Im gonna use white posterboard and yes im setting up a growbox.

Since its gonna be in the attic, I'd prolly do an intake and exhaust with comp fans, just for the extra air flow. I know my attic gets in the high 90's possibly breaks 100 in the summer..

This is what u need to do... sit down, smoke a joint and do 20 or 30 hours of reading. Use the search function nd star digging. Do yourself a favor and do a search on using tin foil.... do some reading on light spectrum too....without some researc u r waisting your time and money.

peace n' good luck.

Haha alright. Im not gonna use tin foil im going with dull white paint.
Good call =).... Dont stop the research there though. A good grow does not need to be super expensive, but with a little foresight you can spend your money on the right equipment and save yourself alot of wasted time and energy..

Good Luck
