I think it's the estrogen in the pills that does the work. Then again, haven't tried it.
Interesting!!!! I think this should be a thread for discussion.... DobbieGirl should post one... I'm really interested in discussing this!!!! Even if it turns out to be nothing.... it's better then the same old discussions we have about producing females... ya know???

I agree also. I can go grab some of my sisters old birth control pills and try this. This would definitely be a very interesting thread if the results of the experiment prove interesting.

A Russian study showed that the depth of the pot they start in is important , the tap root should not have to run out of sace. Low temps produce as seedling produce more females . Of course a couple of hours of carbon monoxide is suposed to produce all females but I have never tried it as I have always had sucess the way I do it and never found it nessasary , I have more than enough girls now.

The photos were taken a while ago but you can see all the buds. I'm going to take some photos of the harvest when I cut for all the bud porn ppl . well look at it this way man u could of got all males and 6 foot thats a nice size so be happy u got something and not nothing i beat smoking that bud at the end will make u forget about all the others but still a crying shame hope u killed em and made hash out of em

im very upset, seeing how i put so much time and money as far as nutes go into it. O well, there nothing i can do about it. I actually didnt even bother tryin to make hash with the males, i dont have a clue how to do it, so i just cut em down ; (

My odds arent as bas as your but I got the same final product, 1 Female. Out of three plants only one is female. Not as bad as your luck but still shitty.
Time and money for males is always a waste. Of course the two biggest plants of mine and the ones I put in good soil are the males. Such a shame.

Here's one study that I found a while back, might even be in these forums somewhere. It's an old study done many years back, but still has some good info in it as to nutrients and how they may affect whether a plant is male or female. It's really dry reading, but it's not long either, and one of the tables shows specifically how one experiment ended up with all female plants.
