My little project.

I'm an absolute noob at this.. But I planted a seed that were in my budz. I sprouted it in a plastic cup w/ soil and kept it under 2 25-30 watt (i forget) cfls. About a week into it I noticed it was slowly coming along. Another week into it and I noticed hardly any growth at all. So I said fuck it and I planted it into the ground. I went to the local hydro store and I bought some kind of veg nute and a cheapy ph meter. A few days after I transplanted it and fed it, it looked to be in a happy mood. Looked pretty healthy. It has been storming for the past week and I try to keep it covered at night so it doesnt flood. Anyway the storm passed and the soils been soaked ever since we got hit. I noticed one of its lower leafs begining to die. I have a few pictures that I took of it not too long ago. Any reason why the leaves are so small compared to other babies I've seen on here?

May be from lack of light? Or its still kind of getting used to the transplanting from indoor cfl to the all mighty sun. The lower leafs are going to die off. Start to worry about it if all the leafs start to do the same. Plant looks good tho, nice light green color, just give it a few weeks and it will take a jump start in life once it gets acclimated.
