My Lights Went Out!!!

Hey I accidently hit the damn light switch. It shut my light off. It took about three minutes to turn back on. Im 5 weeks into flowering. Any Damage done here???...... man i used to have duct tape on the light switch so this type of shit wouldnt happen.
 
you're fine. accidents do happen. keep it to a minimium!!!!!!!


its the night cycle you have to worry about!!!
 
yeah this is the first and only time this happened. it isnt my first grow but to be honset its my best so far to date. Then i had to go do this bullshit. I just wanted to see if i messed it up. Right on for the comfort man. appreciate it.

I Got 6 in there. i made a cabinet. its a mock of the supercloset. dont know if you seen one before on the web. but they go for like $2500. shit made mine for under $200. sweet deal too. I only have a 1000watt hps. so its better in the winter until i buy a stronger exhaust fan for my light. i got 225cfm goin out. gonna op for a can-fan soon they seem so much stronger.
 
well yeah you fucked up, will it hurt them, probably not, they might just see it as a cloud going over the sun, just try not to do it again, its not like you can do much about it now anyway is it, if we said yeah you fucked em bad, would you really kill em and start again?

Like Loudblunts said, it's interruptions in the dark cycle that really matter. This is nothing to worry about. If you are using HIDs though you should wait about 15 minutes to relight them. Otherwise it is called a Hot Strike and it isn't good.

yea....i've seen the supercloset. actually i was going to buy one....but i opted to build one as well. im just not done yet.

by the time im done...i will have around 2500 in the cab....but at least it'll be the shit i want

have you seen jonnyblunts88 journal? he has a supercloset.....he's got that thing dialed in!
 
Fuck no i wouldnt kill them. dont know what i would do uhh... maybe kick myself in the ass a few times. i basically just needed to know if its gonna do major damage likle start to hermie. its for personal use so i guess it doesnt matter. but they stink sooo good and i really dont want seeds in my shit.
 
wow 2500??? are you serious i wanna see your shit man. i already had a light so i didnt include that. plus i got my cab from work for free. alls i had to buy was the reflection shit(bubble wrap stuff) 2 intake 4" fans and ducting. 1 outtake 6" fan and ducting. ummm...thats about it. i mean the soil and grow bags plus clones of course. i dont really add that to the mix cuz i gotta buy that every time. so what you got in yours???
 
man ive had my power go out for a couple of hours and nothing happened at all...as someone said its basically just a bigass cloud passing by. No worries!

2500 was a rough estimate.

250 for the cab itself

then the 1k watt digital ballast

t5s for the mother and daughter chamber

3 fans 2 exhaust; one for light and one for main exhaust, one for intake.

decked out co2 system with monitor and controller.

im basically freestyling from Al B Fuct thread. i just downsized it enough to stick in a cab.....

im still building. this shit is one expensive hobby!!!!
 
expensive yes. BUT this is the only indoor garden which can pay for itself! so its worth it. co2 setup huh. wow. ima have to step my game up! i use dry ice.LOL. I really want to get another cab and put it directly behind this one, cut out the back of them and tape them together and maximize my 1000hps and fit around 16 or 14 plants in there! woo hoo!. i dont know shit about co2.yet. i mean i know how to use it. but not using those handy systems. with the controllers and tanks and all that jazz. But good for you man. Good luck with it. Sounds awesome.
 
i tried dry ice....got too expensive, then i had to shut down my op


the tanks and controllers make it easier blv it or not. you just set your desired ppms and let the controller do its thing. it will run a cycle....it will turn off your exhaust fan while co2 is being dispensed and turn it back on to clear the old stale used up co2 air while starting another cycle!

im trying to run 4 trays of 3-6 small lollipopped plants. each tray will rotate every 2 weeks. harvesting every 2 weeks.

ill be so glad when im finished!
