lol nothins going to hurt them now Im chucking the co-co on this one so a few days aint gonna hurt bruv.... but yes I agree just didn't have any to hand when it collapsed and started splitting the stem so I just used a bit of kindling from the fire stack :) hehehee lazy bastard me but totally bamboo works well if that's part of the plan

hahaahaha yeah man I took a small bud yesterday from one I missed below the line I will let you know what the smoke is like next week
I grew one out by accident this year she was outside for 3 weeks at 12/12 and I tried to put her back in veg indoors but it didn't work, even at only 4 hours of dark she refused to reveg
she continued to flower, ok the yield was shit, but yeah sublime describes her well..... very impressed!
I think as a rule from the 4 seeds I am trying, 10 weeks probably sums her up pretty well as a average under leds, but I would need a bigger control group to know for sure what the average maturation time for this strain was to be fair

I think that my recommendation for you will be ... lets see ..hummm... depending how many spacebomb seeds I get, I ll send you 5-10 of those for sure. And I will have to wait another month or so because if I can get enough NYCD seeds, I would love to send you some of those as well. It would be nice to start a few seeds together and see how they grow with different growing styles.

Anyway, it's not like I know what I am doing and I am pretty sure there will be a lot of phenos in each strains but I think everything will have huge frost potential!!

for sure nothing is better than growing your own strains I absoloutly love it
the trouble is as i dont sell my weed I have real problems with the mrs with me spending money on my hobby I used to ride super bikes and spend a fortune on that but now I grow weed which I thinks she prefers as I wont end up as a super large insect splat on someones window screen :)
any way im pretty into my plants I have a university degree in horticulture and I really wish it was legal here so I could breed in green houses its one of the reasons im so into my autos as I dont need separate tents for flowering and I can experiment as much as I want in one area in the spring and summer when I take my males outside so within my flowering room I can play as much as I want
its been really handy being a test grower for Fero as well the last couple of years as I haven't had to spend money on lights and I get to play with lots of gadgets the same with the home box tents nutes and seeds I pay for nothing really now
I just need to get a control system company to sponsor me then I will be as happy as a pig in shit and keep the mrs off my back
one thing tho is I always have weed and I haven't had to pay anything for years for my smoke
I love growing weed more than any other plant
I have been thinking of applying for a licence to breed which is possible in this country legally but I would have to commercialise everything and that takes a start up cash budget I don't have and surprisingly banks aren't into loans for this industry trust me I tried :)

ok got a new pocket microscope as my 1 year old baby chucked my old one down the tiled stairs ...bless her cotton socks oops
so playing with my new toy I think I am pretty much there on two plants out of four
The blue widow even has some bright red trichome heads which is pretty cool Im thinking of chopping them in a couple of days maybe 4 (oh right thats xmas day ;))
maybe 5 then
I will take them outside and take loads of natural light shots without fan leaves when I chop
The other two's Triches are still all clear so we have a couple of weeks left to go :( which is a bit of a pain in the ass as my cheese no1 will need to go in there so I might finish them off outside the tent with an old 3 watt led for the last week to ten days to make room ...unless the liberty haze is something really special to smoke I don't think I will be growing it again
Tent two is looking fantastic so many heads of good size and are beginning to fill out really nicely under the adjustable's the extra two weeks of growth made a hell of a difference also the fact that I took off all the lower crap below the scrog line before flower made all the difference rather than doing it at day ten of flower as I did with tent 1

I really like your setup. It is very simple but effective. Do you have a thread that shows how you built your tent and how you setup your light and hydro system?

dude from many years of many mistakes and complicated systems I am a firm believer in KISS
Basicaly I have a 30 L pot inside a slightly bigger Chlorine container guessing 35 L
I Then put a grommet in the very bottom of the outer bucket with some 16 mil pipe connecting all the pots up then a final 16 mill pipe goes out of the tent to the waste
Im a gardener by trade so I had all the pipes lying around
I asked a swimming pool shop for the outer buckets and they gave them to me bless
I paid around ten dollars for ten 30 L pots second hand from my local garden center they are ex tree pots with handles
and about 6 dollars for the grommets
I have a ten dollar pump which I chuck the feed line in and manually water each one about ten L of solution every 4-5 days
that way I don't have to disturb them in the scrog net and keep it semi hydro by flushing to waste each time I water and keep the medium nice and sweet
4 plants 16 square ft be prepared for a very long cycle tho
I use Home box growlab tents and they really are worth the money I think they are amazing really amazing they are so easy to use and have a kinda military ruggedness to them
The scrog line was ready bought for a 1.2 M tent and cost lest than ten dollars as well and work very well and again easy to work with
However my measuring gauges are very expensive and I keep a close eye on PH CF and temps both into the plants and out every time I water
