My happy place

Starting a journal of my shenanigans. Getting back into the hobby after an extremely long lay over.

The set up:
Chamber 1
2'x4'
1 Mars 300 light
1 viparspectra 300 light
4" inline fan for exhaust
Easy organic mix in 7 gallon fabric pots sat in tubs of perlite for easy watering.
Temps stay between 72-78

Chamber 2
18"x36"
2 Aquarium leds for planted tanks
Home made 12 site bubble cloner
Easy organic mix in 1 gal fabric pots set in tub of perlite for easy watering
Temps 76-80

Genetics and sex are unknown. Using bag seeds to shake the rust off and test the new set up. I have 11 plants vegging currently. Hoping to find 2-3 mothers but if the genetics aren't up to par I'll order some beans.

Shooting for water feeding only but will top dress organic nutrients if deficiencies are observed.

Input is welcomed and encouraged.

How long are you going to veg your girls?

I have a bag seed grow going at the moment and ' my plants are around the same age as yours.
If your thinking of installing a scrog net I would probrobly think about just lst'ing & staking them because you don't want what happens to my fiend ,
he grew 8x bag seed in a 4x8 scrog and found it impossible to locate male flowers because of the density of the scrogg.
Also found it a bitch to remove from the netting also.
All 8 plants were pollinated and the yield sucked.
Keep a eye out for the he/she's lol happy growing dude!

Good point! Was hoping to find the best for scrog out of the bunch but might be better off waiting until the second go round for that. Was also hoping to veg long enough to pre sex but getting a little antsy for the flip.

450 actual watts of led in a 2x4 is plenty of light for a decent return if all goes well my friend. Keep us posted on sexing of your plants?
I actually think when it comes to bag seed grows 'some people get confused with sexing regs by keeping a eye out for males? Bag seed mostly is a stressed female plant trying to reproduce for next year and is in fact female.

I think you will only see male parts if it hermies from stress during mid to late flower? Some are more fragile than others and might happen sooner but ' I think people growing bag seed like myself , are a little nervous from the moment our plants are in veg , watching all the time for some malr/female parts to show so we don't waste are time?
In actual fact you got a good chance of the plant growing fine until the 2/4 we of 12/12? If you see no male parts then who cares after week 5 if the plant starts throwing Nanners? Still going to get some bud?
Just my 2cent!!
