My Grow.

Things have been going fairly well for the new plant. My other one is going to die, I have no where to grow it and can’t keep the right time periods for it. Today is the 3rd (21 days) week of flowering! That should means only two more weeks of growing! I am going camping in two weeks so I hope it is done by then.

By the way I'm going camping for about 3 days. If I need to flower longer will the plant still be okay if I didn't water it for 3-4 days but gave it a good watering before I left?

Hope every thing's still going to work out for ya! Im not too sure about the water question..I mean I am sure you could go a good 2-3 days without watering providing your pot doesn't drain the water that you put in extremely fast..

Listen...if you want any yield off of those plants..you need more light.GROWFAQ Try compact fluorescents, they're cheap. What strain is it youre growing again? Five weeks of flower seems awfully short.

Well there is 150 watt Agro-lite on one plant right now. If you seriously think I need more lighting I have a few compact floros here I just need to run to the hardware store to buy socket extension cord for it. The strain is Juicy Fruit. Very very nice plant. Also I want to grow for about 7-8 weeks, I just have to go camping at the end of the month for 3 days.

It looked like a flood light.I guess I was going by those pics!My bad! edit...actually...if its one you got at a hardware store, then yeah, put a few warm white cfls around it instead....like 4 or five of the biggest you can get.....or get an hps....because I dont think youre using the right kind of bulb...........

yeah it has a thin layer of blue around the front bulb, you can't really see it in the picture. Its an 150 watt Agrolite (for growing plants) I picked up at the hardware store. The plant I'm growing now is not at all scrawny, it has a thick stem and the leaves are all healthy. I have 6-7 bud sites growing, and one growing at the top that is doing very well, its been 22 days in flowering. I am guessing the other plant turned out hermie because the light was on 24/7.

Yeah I bought one of those too at first. They run pretty hot and really aren't good enough for what you want. Which are fat buds. This is what I have now and I'm telling you, its soooo much better.High Tech Garden Supply With tax and shipping its 90 bucks...but they have 250 watters and up. Its a complete system. So you take it out of the box, assemble the reflectors, and plug it in. If you cant afford this, get some warm white cfls. The light with the blue coating is not going to help your plants reach their full potential. I bought one just as a supplement in veg, and quickly saw it wasnt worth it.Your plant does look healthy...but the difference when you put this light on it is amazing.

Honestly, I'm living with other people in the house, and where I have my grow probably wouldn't be the safest place to set up a ballest and a HPS system.

Once I get some Florous in there this baby should be done in 3-4 weeks. Hopfully. I was thinking on making some clones from this female plant. I am going to go pick up some rooting gel, however can I grow the clones starting at 12/12?

Looking good but a wee bit stretchy.. How far away did you keep the light?

As close as I could, the light gets fairly hot. But I don't have anything else untill I get my other ones set up.

Well, it will still take a while with flouros. DON'T RUSH IT. you will be sorry, because if it's harvested too early, you run the risk of having crap weed. Be patient, get a 12 dollar radio shack microscope. This is for checking trichomes later on. Really, the buds should be a bit bigger for its age. Those lights with the blue coating are just no good. Get some warm white fluorescents with a color temp of 2700k. These are the correct spectrum for flowering. Water with a tablespoon of sorghum or black strap molasses per gallon of water every third water...this is supposed to bulk up your buds. Get some bloom nutes. Follow the directions on the package as to how often to water, but if you've never used them before only use 1/4 strength to avoid nute burn. You won't have a giant harvest but if you correct the lighting issue now, you still have time to get some smokable weed.
