Been growing for a while. I'm not the most sophisticated grower. Not here saying I know everything. Actually looking for more advice. Also tips. I'm on my 8th grow. First grow I fouled up got impatient and harvested early. (master kush) you got stoned but only lasted for 20 mins lol. Tried to learn some more information started my second grow and got over run by mites. Studied again my third grow 2 plants and made out ok I guess. Two plants dry wieght little less than 2.40 oz.s . Mind you first three grows were cfl grows using homemade co2 and best soil I could get from local nursery. My light situation for first three grows was a little stupid and not completely thought out. I had 4 40 watt cfls , 2 26 watt cfls , with a four ft five light t5 as well. Mind you besides third grow I never kept track of wieght , dry, wet etc. I grow for personal use. 4 through 6 grows were pretty close in wieght to my 3rd grow. Now I finally broke down and bought 400watt switchable hps/mh light. Wow what a difference. 7th grow was great do not know exact wieght. Back then was afraid to keep track of grows. This 8th grow and from now on I'm trying to soak up knowledge from more experienced growers to be able to better my grows. Now I'll tell you about my 8th grow. used co2 boost bucket. Germinated seeds in paper towel method with success. Started plants in a rubber maid totes with cfl lights to start. Using peat pots. After 2 weeks I move them to grow room keep light about 18 inches from seedlings have oscillating fan also fan blowing on my light as well as an exhaust fan that pulls air from room. Trying to figure out how to put fresh air intake. Five weeks of veg under 18/6 light cycle. Forgot soil ffof also used grow tabs from nirvana. Never ph'd water , used regular tap water kept for at least twenty four hours in five gallon bucket with a bubbler in there. Used to add small amount of ph down but never measured. Also forgot after plants were moved to grow room I transplanted them to 5 gallon pots. Gave plants 24 hour dark cycle before switching mh bulb out for hps. And switching cycle to 12/12. After week in flower I added flower tab to plants. Now I am in week six of flower. Plants are looking good. However I feel like I could use some advice to be even better. Plants are just under 4ft.
