my grow need HELP€!!!!

Whats up im new to this site. judging from what ive seen this is where i need to be. i just got into the whole growing thing cuz i was upset with the price vs. quality in my area. the pictures below are pics of my first grow about a month into the process. i have just a 2ft 2bulb halogen setup in a 3ft tall by 2 ft wide by 3 ft deep section to grow in which i think is absolutely perfect cuz i plan to start flowering at 24-26 inches. i also have a mini fan in the corner not blowing directly on the plants but in the general direction for air movement. i really began to see a problem using the miracle gro all purpose water soluble solution after my plant started to develop yellow leaf tips and a weak base.now its about 2 1/2 weeks later and my plant has really started to shoot up. using a soil medium i stoppedfeeding so often (cut back to every other day) and that did the trick as far as the yellowing of the leaf tips. my plant is starting to get thicker stem wise and is finally started getting strong. it now has about 8 branches with beautiful light green leaves and is about 6-8 inches tall. i also dont have the cash for a co2 system but i bout a spray bottle filled with carbonated water hoping to invigorate my beauties!! if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. it would be greatly appreciated!! the first and last pictures were taken today at 61/2 weeks into vegetative stage. the lonely pic in middle is at one month. hit me back with advice please ~~enots

get urself a couple 6500k 42 watt cfls at home depot for about 18 bux ...plug them in and place directly over the tops of the plants(almosty touching the tops of the leaves)! u wouldnt believe the result ur going to get.At 6 weeks those plants should be in flower stage by noew but ur lighting is wrong..

Also ur going to want to flower the plants at prolly a foot tall max with ur hieght requirements! ive had plants triple in size during flower.trust me no more than a foot tall vegging!

get ur cfls fast, keep them close, and after a foot u should veg. if u want better results, cut the top of ur plant off as soon as u have 6 nodes and u will create more colas for flowers(buds) to grow!its simple count up from ur bottom true leaf set until u get to 6, chop it their and watch what happens, u are prolly ready to top now and let the off shoots reach a foot and ur gold.....

GOOD LUCK!

what are the true leaf sets and how do i tell them apart from the other fan leafs? it has four sets of leaves. the bottom set is just one leaf per side, the second set has 3, the third set has 5 leaves and so does the fourth set. never done this before so im kinda at a loss

dont count the 2 leaves that are round on the very bottom of the plant (the very first 2 that come up), from there u can count every leaf set as a node until u get to the top of the plant, hope that helps

try just going to a bigger pot and replant that way... ive heard of people replanting plants and burying stem and have also heard in doing so u can create stem mold which only deters veg or flower growth...the stem is already established it just need a bigger pot and a fan full time with indirect air..it does need a bigger pot! ur not ready to clone or top that plant yet! wait until u have at least 6 nodes.... my main stem only reach a hieght of about 6 to 9 inches in hieght ..but the colas grow up to 3 feet tall when done flowering

u can easily veg a plant with 2 spiral 42 watt cfls 6500 k lamps until its 6-8 inches tall-with 6 nodes, whether u top it or not u can grow it to a foot, by topping u gain more colas that u can grow to a foot or so,/9main stem remaining about 6 to 8 inches, topping only increases colas and yield!

after ur at a foot in hieght, add 4 42 watt 2700 k cfl lamps to ur project on 12/12 in addition to the 6500 k lamps...monitor ur hieghts and adjust accordingly above colas until ur done flowering ur plant....it cant be any more simple or cost effective than that...

you seem dedicated enough

Co2 make a homemade generator suger yeast water and a jug (pic 1) mine lastsa week and a half... i'm still tinkering with it. get some co2 on 'em you like it!

don't top yet... wait till some shoots start popping out... then consider topping. this pic is a plant i topped and trimmed all the fan leaves off.(pic 2)

Nutes i like using fish emulsion for about the first 5 weeks of life. any thing that you could make a bomb out of i leave alone... get some super thrive to lower your stress level cause your babes look stressed... and decent nutes like that earth juice... and the like... these contain all the little nutes that get lost in some other ferts... like miracle grow. (pic 3)

your lights just keep them right up on them if you got some flouros i have had no problems in my veg room with flouros t-5's however. which run around 25 bucks a piece so 4 of em for 100 most people say dont use 4 footers but i have had no problems now and before. do you know about spectrums? pic 4

o.k. guys i have taken bits and pieces from what everyone has posted. went out and bought 4 cfl's + the 2 foot flourecents that i already have and created a stadium-like lighting around my plant. by my count i am putting out around 6500k. i also transplanted from the little pot i had it in to a one-gallon milk jug (ghetto i know but when ur broke ur broke). but it works ya know? if you have any hints or helpful comments hit me up! thanks for the support---enots

Thats good more light always means more growth, just remember keep them as close as possible to the tops of ur plants the bigger it gets the harder light is to penetrate ur bottom growth! Ur plants dont look bad either, they will end up nice and bushy if u keep up ur regimen, just remeber to monitor ur lights daily cuz they will grow quick. I have to raise my cfls on my veggies about 1 to 3 inches a day sometimes.

Also do not quit nute feeding, ur plants are going to need nutes specially now that that have more lights, its like running all day and not eating dinner, couldnt do that for to many days right? Follow the directions carefully on ur nute bottles and u will be fine trust me!

Last but not least, ghetto style is all u need for what u are trying to do, lol im sure i just made alot of people mad bout that but, they are all right about high powered lights and listen to all of the advice from the pros on here , but when ur ready to flower u can pick up a 70 watt same as 600 watt hps light fixture at home depot in the security lighting section, add that to ur collection of lights and u will do just fine flowering ur 2 plants bro, Ur on the right track...good luck
