so does anybody see room for a light change or not. I mean as far as up and down.It;s a 1000 watt phs how far from the plant should it be?

Looks OK, but use the hand test. Hold your hand under the light.

I'd say about 3-4 feet would be about right(@3 feet is more intense light than the sun gives outdoor plants). Sprouts are pretty fragile.

175 watt 2x2 ' area
250 3-foot square 12-18 inches above plant
400 watt hid 4x4 area 12x24 inches away from plant.
600 watt hid 4x4 area 18-24 away from plant
1000 hid 6x6 Can burn plants if closer than 24 inches.

how do you know if your plants are getting enough fresh air to the plants ?
