growth looks good sorry to ehar about your problems. hope they have stopped now...

i think you should add some more air stones if you only have 1 for that many plants
Thankd man - input is allways much appreciated, i had two 8" stones since day one but i just added 2 more. I also think my res was also lower then it should of been up til recently. There was about 2-3" of space between top of water and bottom of pots and i started keeping it 3/8-1/2" between.water and pots andthe roots are looking alot better.

Things are doin good. I REALLY wish i would of stuck with a single strain (or multiple strains with simillar grow patterns) because some of the strains are beastin and i'm having to tie them over a bit to keep them off the glass while some of my widows and others are getting slightly less light due to being 1/2-2/3 the size of some of the surrounding plants. I knew it was gonna be an issue about 1/2way thru veg so I organized them in a way that the taller plants would be on the right and shorter on left and it helped a little.

last week I came downstairs and checked on them and somewhere in the previous 24hrs my water pump had quit. I thought my ladies were dead as they were yellowing and a few were completely wilted over with the cola facing strait down... I got it back and all buy 2 plants bounced completely back. the two that didn't are still growing with new growth and new hairs but are definetly stunted pretty good...

anyhow all in all i'm pretty happy with the grow with the exceptions of
1. should of stayed with one strain.
2. should of kept closer to the lights to minimize stretching during veg.
3. all my rookie "learning experiences" haha

heres some pictures... lemme know what you think. (if anyone even reads this thread haha)

heres some pictures i took last night. I couldn't get good pictures of all the girls cause my box is getting suuuper full but here's a few pictures that came out ok. the left side of my box is mainly northern soul and is so bushy I really can't get a good angle for a shot.

lookin sweet man nice job!
thanks man

they look great, but tall!!!! how much longer do they have to go? how tall were they when you switched them over?
they are in week 4 so between 4-6 weeks left -estimated- at the soonest. most strains were 8-10 week flower, they were between 5.5"-6.75" when I hit the switch. the stretching has slowed to a halt over the last few days, about 2/3 of them are tied at angles to keep them off the glass and i've been SUUPER slowly bending them more and more. Its gonna hurt my yeild for the stress during flowering but I never thought that 60% of them would be 3x 4x growth after the switch... its gonna be a spiderweb of strings by the time I crop.....

i'll be outta town til sunday night but i'll try and snap some shots of full box when i get back in town to give you guys an idea of how tall some of them really are.

o think i might have left mine too long- they were only at week 3 from clones when i switched em, but they were a 10 inches tall- my strain seems to be shorter and fatter though so hopefully will be ok

I REALLY don't have enough experience to be able to tell you the best but if its an idica you should be ok, my idica dominant plants have just over doubled in size instead of triple/quadrupled... for example my feminized seedsman northern soul plants were 5.5"-6" and (without measuring) are around 15"-18" including 2" buds..

I really messed up in strain choices and in doing a variety.. i'm a huuuge fan of the sativa high and in turn planted allmost half sativa dominant plants.. it was a crital error in judgment. its no problem if i would of scog or lst since veg but ooooohhhh well.. in the future it will be one strain done scog leaving 10" for the buds.....

I just peeked at your thread and yours look waaaay healthier at beginning of flower then mine did... might wanna think about a way to run a screen just incase- that way your not scrambling for a solution... for me my plants stretched evenly- so measure at beginning of flower and again 2 weeks in. my growth showed growth in first 2 weeks is equal to second 2... it would give you a 2 week heads up on a screen or other alternative method... just my 2 cents...

So I found out its impossible to get good pictures once in heavy flower due to lighting/crowding so I hadn't updated much.

I had one plant go hermie on me, it was a plant that when I had a fan go out the plant bent completely over and needed to be staked back up for a week or two, it was two much stress and she started seedin a few weeks later.. oooh well

so total I had 14 plants growing and had the expectation of 11oz.-12oz

one turned to seeds then to butter :)
two of them I pulled early- mainly cause i'm inexperianced but also cause I was outta bud
i yanked four of them over the last few weeks- smallest brought me a little under 20g dried and the bubba 76 pulled down just under 2 oz dried but of the 4 i ended up just over 6oz dried

I still have 3 northern soul plants and one white widow that are getting pulled over the next few nights and they are dense as hell so I imagine i'm gonna get around an oz a plant- thats what simillar sized ones have been pulling.

so all in all i'm gonna end up with about 10oz of killer dried, about 1 oz of premature (that I still smoke but only in blunts or the vape) and a 1/2 lb of butter. I also used about 1/2 my trimmings to make a vile of tincture and the other half on more oil and butter. I still have 4 plants to trim so i'll prolly make a few more viles of tincture...

So all in all I just about met my 11oz goal but it coulda been more like 14-15 had i done things perfect.

but seemings how I overcame some bugs/some fungus/fan failure/ timer failure/inexperience/under fertilizing/over fertilizing and a million other things i did wrong- all in all i'm happy with results.

anyways. heres a few pictures of some of the buds, and a few of the remaining few plants

what the bubba 76 turned out

I think in future grows i will definetly grow all 1 strain for sure.

i'll just have to decide if it will be 2 bigass outdoor plants supercropped or 14 short grow strains..

i know keepin my front 2 center spots un-used proved invaluable for many reasons. It made it easy as hell to get samples of my water for testing and also i used a second water pump that i could slide thru the whole to get to all but a gallon or so of water out for fluid change.

I only changed my res 2-3 times total from seed to crop, i just checked my levels and added appropriately (kept a pretty tight ppm of 1800 during flower and brought down to 1400 within a few weeks of cutting) I also didn't flush at all and the herb is smooth with white ash.. mailny it was because all the plants were finishing at different times and I didn't wanna starve the still flowering ones... I've got nothing to compare it to but I couldn't of been happier with outcomb and I only used 1 liter each of my M/G/B and less than1/4 or half each of bud candy/overdrive/big bud. I would of needed 2x or 3x the ferts if i woulda changed out every 2-3 weeks....

I'll throw a last set of photos up once the last 4 are cut/dried..

thanks for all the people that gave me input and answered my messages and multiple questions, this community has been the best resource of all for a good grow.

happy smoking

LOOKS GREAT-way better than mine. - i had a bunch of issues with my second grow- hoping to get 8-10 out of it, i am switching to 4 circular 4 inch airstones on two pumps and ditching the 4 inch computer exhaust fan for a 4 inch vortex blower- when the box fills out that tiny fan is overworked.
to take pics in the box i turn of the flowering lights for a minute and use the cfl- way nicer pics

thanks man, my problem with lighting was due to how overgrown the box was. I literally couldn't put eyes on the plants in the rear corners cause of leaf density of box, i could see the front row and if i "burrowed" i could see the second row but thats it. the camera is a cheapo digital so it couldn't take pictures that close up in low light.. i run 4 8" airstones off my dual outlet airpump and it keeps the water pretty fizzy.... i was kicking around rooting a secondairy fan in the box that pulls air from canopy and pushes it through tubes underwater- that way it will aerate the root zone as well as getting waaaay better circulation inside the box for that late weeks when box is so full... we'll see
