my first seedling looks weird

My first AG seedling has sprouted but it is bent and weird. Plus, the lower part of the stem is really thin. Please see attached photo.

Could this be due to high humidity? I did see some white fuzz on the stem. Should I remove the domes?

Also, my pH is perpetually rising for some reason.. I have to add pH down every few hours to lower it from 6.5 to 5.5. Could this be a cause? I went to the hydro store yesterday and the guy said it could be the quality of my buffer solution, so I bought a high quality down, but it didn't do anything, just left me $25 poorer..

ps- A second seedling has sprouted and seems to be growing sideways too. wtf.

should be fine just wait it out. they tend to grow weridly when they first sprout. give it a couple days and it will look like a flag pole

They all look like that at first in the AG. They're going to get stretchy too because the lights on the AG are too far away from the plants when they're starting out. I'd suggest you get some extra lights or remove the hood and lower it somehow.

I did my first grow in an AG. Not saying I wouldn't do it again. . . it's a good teaching tool but you'll outgrow it real fast.

Thanks for the advice. Phew, good to know!

I'm attaching an 150w hps soon. I may let them (meaning three, tops) finish growing in a bigger reservoir..

I had a similar problem with my pH. I'm growing with top fees drip. Plan in a roxkwool plug surrounded by expanded clay. I went to the hydro store and they said it's likely because I hadn't burried my rockwool deep enough and that I didn't have enough clay covering everything and it was algae. So I covered everthing so u couldn't see any moisture. Worked like a charm!!!
