I love the smart pots. After seein what jj did i was sold. As well as my other friend in the closest used them he sold on them to. My smart pots and my soil mix holds water well. I dont have to water for days at a time : ) I will be ordering more real soon as my line up for indoors and outdoors next year! So stoked. Thanks for the ladys tyler and the gift! Dont know how i can thank ya but so spread the happiness when I am done trimming over here! haha

check it, i super cropped the two goped gave me. they look just right compared to other super cropping. i taped them up with duct tape to secure them straight.
does it look right? goped is stressin said i killed it lol.

Let me know how they hold water when your plants get into full flower.. thats when mine start drinking heavy... I will say the plant I have in the smart pot already looks more vigorous then the 5 gallon grow bag one. I just have to water every day or 2 right now... Prob use a little less perlite in the future with those pots because they breath so well!

ya i really like my smart pot.tho its an off brand. called aero bag, but its just the same. mine needs water again i and i just watered day before last. i already see a difference in growth after putting my fucked up purple kush from the ground into it.its saying thank you why didnt you do this sooner. hahaha

they should survive. that branch will heal straight just like it was before. next time, roll the branch in your fingers first and bend it back and forth a few times. this will make the branch weaken at that spot. it wont just bend like it did with yours. this also wont break the outside skin of the plant, so you wont need to tape it. now you can tie down the end of the branch, forcing it to heal at whatever angle you want. the part you supercrop should turn purple like a bruise
also i would recommend doing it closer to the center of the plant. try doing it to the main stem, towards the top. not the very top, but a few inches down. pinch and roll it until you feel it weaken. if its too weak to stand up, tape her straight. you dont really want the main stem to be bent without knowing what your doing. but this should make her bush out underneath where you supercropped it

now that i look at it further... that break doesnt seem to be an open wound. if the outside skin isnt broken much, its okay to let it heal without the tape. if you were to take the tape off now, she will heal up at the angle in the first 2 pics. i say take the tape off and watch it!

but i dont want it to grow like that. maybe it should though so more light can hit more of the plant. the tape is just there for support, not to hold the water in

i suck at supercropping bro!! but ive always thought you leave them over,not stand them back up.they stay bent over,and all the shoots will turn up & fight to be in lead.but it is to open up for light penatration. i was just wondering what he was expecting to happen becaause he said he didnt want it to grow like that? i fuck mine up.u seen my thai?she be over 7 ft rt now if i hadnt fukt the supercropping up.shes the one on rt side of my avatar.her whole main center/top is gone! i was told when i messed her up,your supossed to do it near a node,i did all mine in between nodes,and pinched off.i tie all my side shoots down &out to my pot.i will never try to supercrop again.tie/lst or topping.thats my way.that will be ok,it will heal and have a knuckle there where it was bent/pinched.you cud let it lop over and i bet its fine.

i thought super cropping was to make the stem beefier so it can transport more nutrients and water. making that branch bigger like a top. i bent the lowest branch on both plants.i dont care about how they grow.

i did i correctly,but didnt lik what i had done.so i stood her back up& tapped her back straight.week and half later,i removed the tape.with in an hr,the wind blew her backover;SOOOOO i tapped her back up/everything has been fine so far!not even a wilted leaf! but then we had a heat wave and the damn adheiseve on the tape got gummy & the sombetch spent all of fathersday folded over.so i cut it off.i dont regret it now.shes as tall as me again and there are 6 main tops now.but i did pinch a domina top off last grow trying!! im so over ever even trying it again.i can except that i suck at supercropping!! lmao! i do just fine at the rest of it!

i do it because it makes a really strong knot to hold the branch up good when there is nugs on the end of it. and i think the stuff UNDER the supercrop gets bushier, not the stuff above it
oh that sucks! maybe a stick inside that tape would help support it. ive found out if its really injured, leave the tape on for like 2 weeks just incase
one of mine had a big hole in the stem when i took the tape off. it was hard and woody, so i figured it wouldnt heal. i put some elmers glue in the hole. its thick enough that it doesnt run down inside. it globs over the entrance, sealing it up good

I did this to a plant the other day on about 6-7 branches. snapped em good! The SOB healed it's self and stood em straight up again.
It did let everyone else catch up though.
Transplanted the Sativa today into a 20 gal trash can And put two more plants outside.
