My first plants. So far so good?

I have 4 plants in the same pot. Each about 3 or 4 days old. They vary in size. The smallest being about an inch and the tallest one being about 3 inches. The smallest one doesn't have any leaves, but the other 3 do. I have a few questions that would be greatly appreciated if answered.

I water it a little each day. Just enough to where the water seeps out the bottom of the pot. Is that good enough?

I have no light source so will a window ledge do? It's indirect sunlight. Will that be enough?

I'll also have to pull them when they get too big. They're all in the same pot. How do I know when to do this?

Also, one of the plant's jagged leaves looks as if they're dying. Is this normal? The other ones are healthy looking.

Thanks!

welcome to the site and a great hobby. this can be a lot of fun but it takes a little dedication to get a good amount of bud from your efforts.

first thing, you are going to need a lot of light. an easy rule to use is 100 watts of compact fluorescent light per plant.

second, you should repot the seedlings into four separate pots. 1 gallon for each foot of final plant growth. try a 3 gallon pot your first time.

third, read the growfaq and stickies on this site. there is a ton of useful info

good luck

I water it a little each day. Just enough to where the water seeps out the bottom of the pot. Is that good enough? Don't water them that much. Mj likes to be a bit dry so just water them when you feel the soil really dry (stick finger into soil if it is dry to you first knuckle then it needs watering)

I have no light source so will a window ledge do? It's indirect sunlight. Will that be enough? Indirect sunlight will case plants to overstretch.. get them outdoors of buy a cfl setup for indoors.

I'll also have to pull them when they get too big. They're all in the same pot. How do I know when to do this? Plant them each on an individual container. Once those plants start spreading their roots it will be a problem for you.
