Fertilizer: Roots organic bloom, serenity, and grow. I'll also do some worm casting teas and such throughout the grow to see how the girls respond. I'd like to add some fish emulsion to the mix somehow also. Seems to be rocket fuel for organic gardening from what I read. The general rule will be to keep fertilizer 100% organic.

All seeds are regular so I'll have to weed out the males. I've got a total of 12 going and expect to be left with 6 at a minimum. I will keep take clones of each strain once females are confirmed and will keep a mother plant of each strain for future clones.

This will be my first attempt at an all organic grow and I'm kind of excited about the possibilities and potential outcome. I was less than enthusiastic about the results of my last passive hydro grow. Taste was just unlike my previous soil grows. Lots of rapid growth and weight but the flowers smoked terribly. I'm sure hydro can be done with excellent results by the pros, but soil seems to be a lot easier for my abilities and situation.

They are about 2 weeks above the dirt now sitting under a 192W T5 in a grow tent. Later this week they will be transplanted into 3 gallon grow bags of roots soil and I will have 6 plants in each grow tent each under their own 192W T5. As I approach the flip to flower I'm going transfer the girls into a 10x5x8 tent with 2x600w air cooled lights to finish off. The 2 small tents pictured will then house the mothers in one tent and clones preparing for flower in the other tent. I think maybe 10x5x8 could be overkill on size, but I plan to trim inside of the air filtered tent when it's time to harvest so I don't offend any nearby neighbors that may not care for the smell and I want enough room to be very comfortable. I'm ordering teaming with microbes so I can understand this whole organic microbe thing a bit more. This organic gardening stuff is pretty cool. I am actually hoping to mix up my winter batch of super soil in the back yard before summer's end to be stored in 30 gallon trash cans in my basement for later use. The science behind composting is just very cool to me. Clearly I'm a nerd :)

If you see something that I could improve please feel free to criticize. I can use all the advice anyone wants to throw at me. I'm starting a notebook to save tea recipes so I can remember everything. The no till gardening thing sounds pretty sweet too.

Sub’d! Yeah microbiology is very interesting, I thinking that and the curiosity makes us better growers by enticing us to read and learn more. I’m on the adventure too! What’s the rating on your bubbler?
