My First LST Grow.

Long time grower, least 10 years now and have always been pretty traditional and I guess wasteful. My plants before I never topped or tied down, just typical light cropping and let the plant do it's thing. I'd grow 15 plants under 2 1000w HPS and barely get a pound and then be super jealous when I see pics/vids online. I have no arms and do all this with my feet. I get help to fill soil and heavy lifting but all plant management I do myself.

From the pics, do I even need to do any topping or fimming? Thinking of fimming them. I think they are pretty bushy for only about 12" some are around 8". They are all clones from 2 mothers, 8 in the back are Bubblegum and the 7 in front are Cannatonic.

The pic below is the top of a Cannatonic mother after already taking a top off, I cut the top off the mother for a clone but was still too tall so took the top off again which was only 1 node without a top and thought I might as well clone that 1 too, the plant is a mutant now, hope it's stems can grow thicker cause it looks more like a vine plant than a weed plant. Any advice with this one? Never quite seen a pot plant like this, not sure how it will do flowering, my guess it'll just grow a bunch of small buds, wish the weather wasn't winter, be a good one to put outside and let nature mature it.

My setup has 2x 1000w LED's, (replaced 2x 1000w HPS with LED's about 9 days ago. Was only using 1 of the HPS to veg tho) 1 is over the clones, the other is higher up above 2 mothers to the left. lights on 24/7. Going to have to put a heater in there once I flower, winter is coming. Dirt grow, water every other day, Only use nuets every other water. Will be transplanting them to bigger pots next week hopefully, need a lot of dirt. This is about 1 month in to veg, will probably let them veg for another 2-3 weeks. Any advice is always welcome.

What kind of lights? Most cheaper led's call them "1000W" when they are really 200-300W.

It is a cheapo LED, "BESTVA 1000W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum" however I did use a lux meter and the numbers aren't that far off from the HPS. Tho light dissipation is more of an issue I can tell with the LED. I really shouldn't have grown so many clones gonna have to keep them short. Worse comes to worse when I do flower I can put the HPS in the center and have the LED's on the sides.

Good for you man. I think you're doing a great job but I definitely hear you on the jealous factor. Seeing some of the weighs people pull off is unbelievable? I think your vine like bush plant will come around. If not I'd stay away from cloning off of her.

You need better lights

Look into viparspectra ,
Very affordable yet very goooooood lights
I have a 600w viaspectra and so far so good. Havent harvested yet so I cant really give the full review. But as of now dont see any issues. Now this is also my first grow so dont have much to compare with. Just seems as they are not bad lights for the price point. and the warranty isnt too bad either.
