Sorry i dont have any pics yet. im getting some later. i used bagseed and germinated them for 5 days. i put them in soil and in 2 days 1 out of 3 plants is showing through the soil at a 1/2 inch. im only using a 13 watt cfl but i wasnt expecting to see anything so soon. i made it a must to get to walmart for supplies this weekend. how is the progress? do you guys think its growing a pretty good speed? i know i definetly need more light, a fan and a weatherstation for humidity and temperature. i'll post pics later.

this is normal growth for a seedling. and like you said u need "way" more lights to produce any kind of buds! get some more lights and post some pics, then we'll see what it do? :peace:

im growing my plants in a small 10 gal rubbermaid container. i just got done putting up more lights. im now using 3 23w spiral cfl's and i also got a mini fan that doesnt blow to much air and i also got a humidity and temp weatherstation. now im trying to lower humidity and heat because all those lights in that small area make it real hot and humid. the humidity is reading 56% and the temperature is 97 degrees. how do i lower humidity. or is 56% fine. i'll go do some research on the humidity and i guess find a way to lower the temp. i know this might sound crazy but do i got to much light for such a small place. the equivalent light is 100w per bulb(and i got 3). i got 3 plants. i can turn a bulb off if i dont need it to lower temp.

EDIT: i also got another plant through the soil this afternoon. im guessing the third one will come through tomorrow.

honestly yea, it sounds like you got too much heat. try another fan for the heat. as for humidity i am not too sure, i don't even know mine cuz i don't have a temp/humidity monitor. i know i need to get one, i will eventually. you can also try a bigger container and a bigger fan. that way you will have a little more circulation of the heat. hope this helps :peace:

You can do wonders with bag seed if it came from good strains. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

should be alright solo, just one thing is make sure your temps stay lower then that you want it to be at a max of 86 or 85 the humidity not such a big deal when they are seedlings, but just get that temp taken care of and you should be alright, bigger fan more circulation, whateva u gotta do to keep your babies alive, i am on my first grow as well and also used bagseed, i started my babies out with CFL's but then ordered a hps/mh set... the CFLs will do fine if u have enough and keep the temps down, dont over water them, underwatering is better then overwatering remember that, let the soil dry out a little bit... don't give any nutes or anything untill the are about a month old i believe...hopefully this helps pm me if ya got any questions or u can see what good bagseed can look like if ya stop by my grow... the link is in my signature...peace

well i put in a humidifier and switched everything to a 30 gal rubbermaid and with the lid open i got a temp of 85 degrees and a humidity of 52%. i need more light though and i need to close the lid. the only thing i can think of is a bigger fan pulling in fresh air.
