My First Grow

This is my first grow. I started 6 plants under CFL's and now I am moving them into a 600w HPS closet space. I am still waiting on the light to come in but this is the set up for my clone/starting area:

Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful :mrgreen:

they are some healthy lookin plants those are m8 4 ur 1st grow i hope they turn out GRADE-A quality bud for you at the end of it all.good luck
 
Thanks! They are actually under T5's now but I will have the 600w hps next week and then they go to flower. I will add more pics next week. I think the short bust plants are M.O.B.
 
I finally received the 600 watt light and will be posting an update of my new grow room later today. I will then move the T5's into a box for clones and seedlings.
 
I am finishing the new grow room today. I have ordered a fan for my cooltube light, the HPS bulb ended up not working but it came with a MH 600 watt too. So now the 6 plants are under 600 watts MH bulb on a 12/12 timer. I am working on a solid door with hinges to close this closet in today, and I will post pics of the finished exterior and interior when I'm done.

Two of the plants have shown sex as female with little white hairs starting to come up.

I also just received some seeds and will be posting my next grow from start to finish in another thread. I am starting a few seeds from Ripper seed company.

If you have the room, transplant them into 3 or 5 gallon pots. You dont want to do it far into the flowering stage.
 
yeah I screwed up with the pot size but the next grow I am doing it better with Foxfarm dirt and nutrients. and also 3 or 5 gallon pots :) I started feeding these girls foxfarm big bloom on wednesday and it is already helping!
 
Good! Whatever they like, give it to them :p Try looking into some organic soils, you can find some that are better than fox farm or happy frog for a bit cheaper.
 
haha I know what you mean. Keep them going, you only learn more as you go :p other people can only help so much, its your own experience that benefits you the most. Keep them growing and healthy, have some patience, and those things will look great in the end!
 
Thanks! The first six that are flowering are not that stinky yet. Is this normal? Week 3 of flowering will be on Thursday, 3 of them are behind but the other 3 I thought would be stinking by now lol
 
give them another 2 weeks or so and the smell should be strong. Some strains just dont stink until farther into flowering.
