hey its my first time growing i figured i might as well document it on th forum.
i have germinated and planted the seeds. they have poped out of the soil and have grown fine. then i noticed that one of them was really stretched out and adjusted the hight of my lights, hoping to fix the problem. then a few days later i noticed something that looked like mold in the soil so i swithched it out last night. i just hope sshe will make it through the stress.:-|

Can you give some details about your grow room and what type of soil you are using? You should have your lights about 2 inches away from the plants if they are cfl's. Good luck man!

You should see if you can get some perlite to mix in with the soil I use about a 50/50 mix of soil and perlite but you could use a 60/40 mix ratio and would probably be good.. I have heard good and bad things about miracle grow potting soil but I have actually never used it. Make sure that you have some drainage holes in the bottom of those containers. Also, you dont want to over water your plants. A good way to tell if they need watering is stick your finger in the soil and if its dry two inches down it could probably use a watering. If the plants are wilting that is probably a sign of overwatering. Just wait it out and everything should turn out alright.
