My first grow

Hey guys i would like to know how often you suggest they get watered. Seems to vary a lot and i know i'm probably gonna get told to kinda feel it out. But i been watering them every 3 days and was just looking around on the web and there's a couple sites that say once every week or maybe two weeks. I been doing that at all? Any Idea's, there aired out pretty good and i did mix perlite in with the soil probaby around a 75/25 mix of soil and perlite. Just something i'm kinda wondering about. I did read how new growers grab lots of the expensive nutes to......yeah i did that. Just looking for a suggestion on the watering though, Thanks guys.

It sounds like your doing pretty good. I water mine every second day but thats cuz my containers are small and dry up quick. We should still see if anyone else has any other suggestions but every 2 or3 days seems fine to me bro! Keep up the good work as always...

Seem to be doing pretty good, there not grow much taller right now, just getting a bit fatter. That haze seems to be getting some spots on her leafs and they are a bit droopy. havent added any salt to her in a while incase its a magnesium deficency. Any thoughts on her?

Any of you guys ever do any light stress training on your plants? probably to late to try anything with mine to keep them a little shorter but i think when these girls are done man. I've got some power plant seeds and i'm gonna pinch the 2nd node on her so 4 main stocks grow and screen of green her? I know i'm jumping ahead just after a first grow but i think i can handle that man. and besides it'll just be 1 plant. will be fun to play with. Would like an idea on how to keep these girls short, they got about 12 inches or so that i can give em before its possible they start getting burnt from the lamp and i hear the last 3 or 4 weeks they get pretty wild. Any suggestions would be cool if not....then i can possibly start a new BBQ strain of plant right? lol

Well i nute burned all of them. the opium seems to have taken it a lot better than the other 2 but i flushed em and well thats about where we are at. got about 3-4 weeks left for WW and opium. 5-6 weeks for SS haze.

yah.. ive been reading ur lil thread here and all looks good.. great even.. im in my first grow as well and my stuff looks nowhere near as good as yours.. i am only using a 25o hps though.. what i wanted to say was about the ss haze man.. i have always heard that hazes were quite light feeders and that you should always go a lil light on the nutes on hazes.. but like i said as this is my first grow, maybe im not the best one to be taking advice from.. just that is what ive read about the hazes... also that they tend to pack on most of the bud weight in like the last three or so weeks of flowering.. great grow man..

Thanks brother, i really appreciate that. Makes sense about the haze, seems like she's been drooping the whole time. I gotta reflush the WW man got down to the last what 3-4 weeks and i've really burned the hell out of her. Doing that tonight. Thanks for the advice about the SS haze man, i'll remember that. Next grow i think i'm gonna do a SCRoG with a power plant seed. gotta go climb mountains and glaciers for about a month and half though...Fucking awesome right? Then i'll post another grow on here. (GREAT grow man, i got 5 female opium (weed) seeds and im dying to know how it turns out for you.

Here you go man, the one with the fat top is the opium, I didnt know i was supposed to start flushing like 2-4 weeks out so they got like 1 week left and i'm just gonna flush until then i guess.

Well bruah they all look sexy az fuk .i can see u moved em nobody told u i could trim sum of the fan leaves off i think the look sexyer with the leaves. So wat u gonna do with all that bud since u cant smoke i would be so tempted. I really had fun following on ur grow and are u gonna to conitinue to grow? thats amazing man, and as far as the flushing goes, you should be alright. just make sure you flush it good, i would feed it nothing but pure water, i did the same thing 2 years back and i literaly just flooded it with water about 2-3 cups of fresh water a day and it turned out perfectly. that opium plant looks so tasty im ready to come over. lol jk. from what my paradise seeds package tells me it says it has a fruity punch / grape taste. sounds good to me! and like i said before, just keep flushing them, making sure the water that runs tought the pots is disgaurded. and to be honist, i have gone from soil to ebb and flow and now im on DWC which i must say is by far the best method i know, i did one plant and yelided over 1.5lb dry from a single 5foot plant, first try, mind u it was a bush, the stain is called Sativa Indica simpley because it was 50 indica and 50 sativa, and i use stuff like bloombastic which is 205USD for a 43oz bottle.. try looking that stuff up, im sure you will be amazed. till then keep the pics coming, and great work man. take it easy

Yo scoob, i looked at the pics you posted and in need of some major help. I noticed that my plants growth is way under compared to the month's growth pic you posted. My plants popped on 4-20 and today is already 5-15. Yet they only 4 leaf sets high, averaging around 12" on a 18-6 light schedule. I think i messed them up due to putting them in the shed in nearly 90deg temp but i needed them out of the house for 2 weeks. When i finally brouhgt them inside, i noticed that yellow/brown leaves are throughout most of the plants. I transplanted them in 6 gallon pots and snipped the leaves on most of the plants but do you think that they will recover and get back on a schedule. I am using Scotts potting mix with advanced water released and miracle grow to help them out. Damn i think i messed them up. But i am more concerned about there growth. I started another set of seedlings so that they will be 4 weeks behind the first set so i can have plenty of BUD to smokah. Let me know since this is my first time growing as well.

Awesome guys, glad you enjoyed it. I still got the SS haze that i'm gonna start flushing next week. I'll probably post a pic or two when she's ready to be harvested. I did smoke a bit of the opium took about 3 hits from her at about 11AM and yeah i finaly came out of it around 6 PM. I'm not a very regular smoker anymore but that girl has got some longevity to her. Gonna cut em down next week then.
Rayxtreme if i can help with anything i'll be happy to let you know man but there are some better growers on here than me for sure. I didnt use any MG though i hear to many mixed emotions about it. I used Fox farms ocean forest and didnt feed em for the first 3-4 weeks man. all i tried to do was not over water them like most new growers do and they just happened to come out as good as they are.

I too am on my first grow! Germinated my seeds on 4-22 and I'd say they are about 10" now. Started out with a 400 watt HPS but quickly realized it was too hot in my garage and decided to go with CFL's for the veg stage...once I need to flower I will have to bring back the 400watt HPS..
