So this is my first time growing, i am a broke college student and this is about the only thing i can afford at the moment. My babies are about 3 weeks into vegetation stage, some of them about a week ahead of others. All plants are chronic. Probably 7 different kinds. I know that 2 of them are blueberry, and one northern lights. The others are from a solid grower who has a good strain going.

the light is always no higher than 3 in away from the plants, i put spacers in between the bulbs for better light distribution, and i have been watering them just about every other day, but more when it feel like the soil needs it. i have a fan blowing on them, and the temp is about 65 degrees, i know this is too low, but i am too broke to buy a heater right now, hopefully i can raise funds for some real lights for a christmas present to myself.:eyesmoke:I really want to get a 250 watt Hps i think it would be perfect for this closet.

yea that 250 hps would be good. if you buy an hps ballast, make sure to get a metal halide conversion bulb that fits into the ballast for vegging.

Well, i finally got around to transplanting them, and i got 2 new CFL bulbs but one of them didnt work when i got it home, which was a little annoying. They are both 26 watt spiraled kind. You can tell the difference between one of the plants that i have and all the rest of them, the lower left of the transplanted ones, im guessing more sativa than the rest?

This one just caught my eye and I'm getting more excited the further it goes on. I'm glad you finally were able to attain a nice light so you didn't have to flower under fluorescents, it should help with the heat issue as well. What type of nutrients are you planning on using?

HOly shit lastnight was crasy, had a little fungi adventure. At one point i was sitting and watching my plants grow for about an hour...IT WAS AWESOME. It just made me reasure myself about life and why i was growing and really realise how awsome the whole process is. Any ways, idk about the temp, i need to get a thermometer, i think it might be getting too hot because 3 of the plants look like they might be getting burnt, but the others look REALLY good, so idk, i will try to get pics up soon. It feels like its about 70-85 degrees though so i think ill be good. Also, anyone recommend any good distances from bulb to leaf, i have about 32-40 in right now, i was going to move it to about 20 in but in light of the 3 getting burnt a little bit ill wait and see.
