well this is mine 5 weeks in 4 n half weeks in natural sunlight and the rest in newly constructed grow room under 4 x 100w cfl's, was transplanted into larger pot 3 days ago and introduced to grow room 2 days ago, some lower fan leafs are drying up but im sure this all to do with the stress of transplanting to bigger pot and change to light cycle, also i have used no nutes as yet, got a ph tester coming in next few days, any advice welcome

Baz, I've got some the same age that have been outside and mine are about the same size. I'm wondering if being out as the days are shortening so close to the equinox has stunted them. I moved mine in recently too and they seem to be picking up speed.

Start a thread about your plant, put a link in your sig. I'd like to keep up on your grow. Maybe compare notes since our plants are so similar.

Baz my man just goto myrollitup in the upper left hand corner and then click edit signature.

Your plant by the way doesnt look too bad just get the light closer to the plant, that is why the bottom leaves are drying up and dying. If you can get another cfl and position it towards the bottom or just lower all 4 of the cfl's you have now and that will show you much improvment. I would say 1-2 inches is good.

Meanwhile i just got done mixing up a batch of Fox Farm Grow Big and pH'd it to 6.3-6.4 and started the first feed cycle of full nutes. Plants are recieving all nutes according to fox farm schedule at recommended dose. Hopefully this don't burn my plants...it shouldn't but you never know.

CORRECT! I like to be able to see things day by day and share that with others. This growing thing really intrigues me and is really fun!

im kinda scared, but im going to increase the height of my lights for about 1 inch per day...

so i would be needing 10 inches for t he 10 days... im going to do 12 inches just to be safe...

more than likely the plants wont grow that tall because the light isnt going to be strong enough for the plants to grow quickly anymore

OR on the flip side, the plants come out lanky because they are going to stetch the light...

but im going to do 1 foot above the canopy to be safe...

crossing my fingers, wish me luck

I would just LST or Top the plant, that way you could position the lights in one spot and then not have to worry about the plant growing vertical very quickly.

Hmm im trying to think of names for my 2 plants but im having a hard time deciding...

I kind of like more old fashion names myself. My daughter (20) ragged on me for using Sadie she's like "every damn dog in town is named Sadie"

Make sure you name them girl names to convince them they are girls already.
