Yup this is my first grow. They are White Widow from BCSEEDKING.COM. They are 3 weeks old. I am useing foxfarms ocean forest soil w/ perlite about a 70/30 mix. For nutes i have the trio pack from foxfarm grow big, tiger bloom and big bloom. Iam useing a 400 watt mh for veg and a 400 watt hps for flower. I plan on veging for about 45-60 days. i tried some lst for the first time the other day and broke one of my plants staulks(last pic)......ouch. They got big quik so i topped them and fed them and optid for scrog instead of the lst. I still might try a little lst. i just found some mites so i ordered foxfarms dont bug me there arnt many but better safe than sorry. Everyone is welcome to join me in this one so just pull up a chair and enjoy.:leaf:

i just cut it off right at the closest node like it was being topped. hopefully it will grow two staulks. i topped them all the same day and tryed lst for my first time and snap! that was about 3 days ago so i left that broken one together over night and cut it the next day. The other 5 have started growing where i cut them but she hasnt yet....Fingers crossed:leaf:

its an all natural plant extract that is used for edible plants....it can be used all the way til harvest if nessesary. i just put a few drops in the bottle i mist them with and never have any bug problems...not to mention it has a pleasant smell..you can get it at most stores with a gardening area.bongsmilie

that would be awsome. I droppede the temp down below 70 for a few days and it seems that more than half of them disaprd...weird. I have a few white spots on just one of the plants just like 3 leaves. I havent seen it yet. Im guessing it is from the mites or myb cal def. I will be updateing the pics on wed and ill have some pics of it there.:leaf:

I normally get my stuff next day from them if I order early, if not, I get it in two days... 9/10 times I've only had one thing back order from them and hold up an order. And it was like airstones or something stupid like that, but that only happened once. That company is great. Plus I always order at least $100 worth of stuff so it's almost always free.

Neem oil is a preventative. It may kill some of the bugs, but not all of them. Neem oil is applied to repel bugs, not kill them. I just got over a mite problem. They were carrying some sort of disease and almost killed my crop. You need to eradicate 100% of the bugs, or just a few will multiply overnight. Use a pyrethrum fogger. The insecticidal soaps for organic gardeners use pyrethrum. It comes from a naturally occurring flower. It is supposedly "safe and natural" and can be used up to harvest. I do not trust any insecticide to be 100% harmless and safe, but I guess this is the closest you can get. The fogger will guarantee that you knock out 100% of the bugs, you set it off in your grow room and leave.

Don't go any further until you knock out your bug problem 100%. It will just cause frustration later. There is no such thing as a small bug infestation. A few bugs will quickly grow.

I noticed you are not venting your light. Make sure you have a thermometer in the room! Those 400w lights get super hot. Is your ballast built into your reflector? Looks like it is from that picture. That makes it even hotter if it is too. If its one of the Sunleaves Pulsar Mini reflector w/ built in ballast, they have a bolt on fan and glass that lets you vent the light for less than $80. The fan is $65 and the glass is $15. That will cut down lots of heat and let you put the light even closer to the plants. Closer light = more lumens, more efficiency, more growth, less money on power!
