My first grow Socal Style!!

First grow right? My advice would be don't add anything and don't cut anything. let her go. If she needs nutes she will tell you by leaves looking unhealthy. You plant is great and has everything she needs right now. One of the biggest reasons for a first timer to screw up their grow is to over fert and in other ways try to get a bigger harvest. First learn to grow mj, then learn to grow good mj, and then learn to grow lots of good mj! People get so cought up in trying to produce volume and peak potency that they get ahead of themselves. no reason to add anything or do anything to those plants, they are gorgeous.

Thanks jed i appreciate that! your right i am very anxious about adding more MG because i watered it with a gallon of it and a table spoon of the blue powder. and then water more on top of that about a week ago or so. So i am going to go look at my babys today i think.

hope they are looking good and are not covered up again! Wish these were in my back yard or one closers. But instead its about 7 minutes down the road from me and a hour walk haha. Will keep you guys posted

Like some others have said, dont mess with it if its not broken. Its too easy to over fert or over trim and stress the plant. Your ladies will let you know what they need and when they need it. :joint:
 
Hate to bring this up but....Have you sexed it yet?
If not, don't get too excited until you see some female pre-flowers. Don't want to be a downer, but that is an important detail.
 
Thanks guys yea i am sure its sativa and it was a random seed when i first got her she was in a window sill about a foot or two big and i told the owner of the house lets put it outside and see how it does. I took for for vacation to san francisco for a month come home and this is how big it was lol. huge!

Lets hope all this works out and have a good harvest. As far as the sexing goes i am just gonna wait it out and hope its a female. Should know with in a few weeks i hope.
 
First off nice looking plant.... Wish my wife would let me go on vacation for a month..... Some trouble to be gotten into. you dont know if its a girl????? Hope it turns out I will be watching...

Knowing you're in the area, and the hydro shops we have available. I have an extra piece of advice, avoid them like the plague. Everything is wayyy over priced, and they'll try to sell you everything in the store, for all the wrong reasons. I'm no master grower, but these guys will flat out lie about products; and their grow knowledge is laughable at best. With all the gaps being filled in with shit they make up on the fly. Always do your own research and verify anything people tell you. You'll find most are just regurgitating the same misinformation they got from someone else.

Sorry for the rant! I'm too baked for the forums.
 
Agreed! I gotta check on them this weekend or next make sure the owner of the house has been watering. I am actually in hemet how close are you? there is a member here on the site in temecula. If we got more people around us be cool to get everyone together and discuss the hobby.
 
bearthesmoker thanks for the heads up! Friend was telling me today oh yea they got hydro shops here in hemet and i am like thinking about that to good thing i wont be going in there.

Have you done any grows at all? Or you just a consumer? If you would like leave me a visitor message and we can chat it up some more or i will leave you one1 god to see locals around here!
 
I've done a few, this is my fourth cycle. So a little over a year. The hydro shops piss me off if you can't tell! I only go in there for things I can't find anywhere else. PH calibrating solution and such. Louies nursery off of the 215/newport has a pretty good stock surprisingly. The owners on the up and up and keeps everything priced very fair. He's asked me before to give him ideas on products to stock so he can compete with the hydro stores. So I'm sure he'd order something for you if he didn't have it.

Gopedxr your grow looks healthy and big as hell. You don't need my help or advice, I could use yours since I'm a 1st time grower too!
