My first grow journal(CFL) 12/12 from seed.

I believe it is just a little mag defficiency and slightly over watered.

Alright then I am happy to let you guys/girls know that my plants have grown an amazing amount since last update. The largest plant with the deformed leaves is about 3 inches taller and 4 inches wider and is loosing that yellow color on top, the botanicare sweet grape I think is what is making the plant turn dark green and loose the yellow. The second largest is dark green and looking very healthy and it also has excelled in size. The seedlings I recently planted are looking good, oh and I transplanted the last plant into a half 2 litre bottle so all are in bottles now except two of the seedlings. I may be able to have pics within the next few days.

Wow I was just reading through all my post and I realized that I failed to mention that this is a super stealth grow because I am living with my parents at the moment, and they certainly dont need to know I am growing. But they walk by my grow cab almost everyday and they havent even noticed but I have rigged my tv to stay on and the volume to stay high enough so you dont notice the sound of the fans running, also the cab is completely light proof so I am not worried about them walking in and wonder why there is a light on inside my cabinet. Also please let me know what you guys/girls think about my locking system on my cab I showed my way of locking my cab in the last photos i posted.

are you sure that one plant with the weird looking leaves is in fact a cannabis plant? I've not seen anything quite like the one you have that I can recall.

The nail idea is nifty if it works : I'm still trying to imagine how you've done that exactly. Your pics are nice and clear though - good job!

Sorry I havent put pics up in a few days but I have to get my camera back from a friend and that can be anytime the week. I will post new pics as soon as I can guys just keep up with me on my journal and I will try to keep you excited on this grow. My oldest plant that looks weird is looking great now I just topped it yesterday, it is real dark green now and starting to get a strong weed/grassy smell. Oh yea I got a new temp/humidity meter today so I can check the humidity and my guess was right because my humidity is around 52% and temps around 83. Thanks for the support.

i remeber my plants had crazy leafs like that then i read it may be because my lights were too close, i moved them back a few inches and they straitend out in like 2 days. So by my very little experience maby it will work for you too good luckk!

My lights are already as far as they need to be for now. I have never topped my plants antil this grow so how long before I see new growth on topped plants.

that largley depends on plant health and strain, some will bounce right back and start putting out new shoots right away, others take 5-10 days to start growing again, ive never had the same results twice with topping, im starting to like lst way more now that i am trying it.

well do you know what the new growth from the topped area will look like when it is just starting to show new growth. Also I might be able to post some pics a 8:20 eastern time when my lights come back on, just depends if my parents have left or not.

what strain are u growing?
and what is wraped around ur fan ?

That fan was used for a swamp cooler which is a homemade air conditioner so there is copper tubing around it. I made it when I had heat issues in my grow cab, and the strain is unknown I just know that they are indica dominant and the oldest is a purple strain.

Dude if you have to go with mg soil use the catus palm and citrus. Its got sand perlite and peat moss in it. it drains ok, better than all the rest i think. congrats tho im glad their doing better

the new growth that comes after topping will come from just above your last node, it can be any where from 2-4 shoots that will come out from the side of the stem on top of the last node, looks just like what you should have along the rest of your stem, they will just shoot out and get large real quick. any pics for us today?

Yea I just noticed that there is new growth coming up just not enough to tell how many tops I will have. This was the only topping I am doing so that I have a few extra bud sites you know. Also to answer kushkittens question all other mg is chemical I am doing a organic grow this year my next grow will be with foxfarms ocean soil and foxfarms nutes I have two 600w hps/mh ballast and bulbs for next year I didnt have anywhere to put them this year. I am waiting antil I move in with my older brother to use the 600 watters.

i know your 12/12 but intill the plant sexes its still in vegitative growth so 6500k's would be the best at this point. you cant be doing organic this grow with mg time release soil.

why dont you read the thread before you tell me its not organic I am using mg organic choice potting soil and organic bone meal with npk 6-9-0 so please dont tell me Im wrong in my own journal unless I am actually wrong which im not.

I almost forgot 6500k are better for vegging but I am very happy with my results so far with my 2700k cfls and it will most likely be less than a week before they show sex so there is no need for changing the light. Also guys one of my sour diesels/jack herrer didnt sprout and one of them looks like it might die but the other is thriving. One of my other plants I had that was the third largest isnt doing to well but I will see what I can do to save it. When I get pics uploaded I promise I will put up alot of pics of each plant and my new setup change which is a surprise.
