My first grow journal(CFL) 12/12 from seed.

you asked where you can get the molasses, pick it up at any grocery store pretty much. just make sure its unsulfered.

I have gotten the mollasses and mixed 1 1/2 tbsp to 1 gallon of water, the type I got was Grandma's orginal unsulfured mollasses. Also nobody commented on the last pics or on how lucky I am to get 2 females. I need to know if the leaves on the bagseed turn purple does that mean the bud will be purple also? I also need to know when is the required time to start using the mollasses? What time during flowering will the plants reach the point where the smell will start to get stronger? Last question what do you guys think I will yeild from these two ladies at most?

some people use molases from the start of feeding, i start it about a week before flower and continue using it till harvest with just a good flush just before i put the plant into its 48 hours of dark. your plants are looking good man, real tight and healty looking so far. way too soon to tell how much you are going to get out of them man, wait til week 6 of flower and we can guesstimate, if not acurately. the purple may be a result of low temps durring the dark cycle, this wont really hurt the plants as long as its not below 50f in there, but yes the nugs may turn purple as well.

The sour diesel is getting hairy and the bagseed is starting to look like it has buds.
In the last pic the plant on the right looks like the leaves are dead and brown in the pic but they are actually dark purple and sagging alittle. I also posted a pic off the Internet of a huge outdoor plant, and I posted the plans for my grow I am starting within the next six months. What do you guys think of the plans, I drew them myself with paint lol.

still looking good man, plans look sweet, how many plants you going to grow at a time?

i thought 12/12 from clone was bad

I was going to start 40 plants and let them veg antil 20 plants show preflowers then move those 20 to flower room and let the other unsexed plants veg for another month unless there male, then take 40 clones off the 2 month old mothers I had left in veg and stick 20 clones in flower immediatly after they develope a good root system in the DIY ez cloner by this time the other plants in flower will be done or close to done flowering, then all I do is repeat the cycle and after a few months and my mothers are 5-6 foot I will flower 1-2 of the mothers and replace them with a few clones. Also I changed my mind I will be using a 600w HPS for flower room not the 400w HPS. The only problem I have is I dont know if I will have the money for a portable air conditioner and my grow room is in the top of a shed, like a nice shed with shingles and shit just no air conditioner, so during the summer I dont know how I will keep it cool in there without sometype of a/c.

they have the small window units for like a hundred bucks at home depot durring the spring, other stores will have sales too gearing up for summer, some times u can get away with a few of those.

perky nonetheless! keep up the good work! cant' wait to see the new grow.. but yeah if you can get one of those window a/c's they can blow pretty cold air.. if you don't have power i'd suggest adding insulation and putting in ducting for ventilation.. these plants are mad to grow in 90 degree temps, so as long as it's not a steam house you should be pretty safe

haha don't let that tom__420 guy get to you, he commented me on my first thread when I had high hopes to build a cabinet.. he may be good but he goes around only really treating luxuriously lit grow with respect. I posted some pics if you wanna check em out link is no longer broken

Estimated Harvest for Bagseed is between March 12th-April 2nd
1/8/10 Bagseed started flowering 28 days flowering.
2/5/10 todays date/35-56 days left to flower.
Max flowering time March 12th-April 2nd.
Drying 5-7 days/1-2 week cure, Smoke sometime between March 22nd-April 2nd
with 9 to 11 week flowering period.

Estimated Harvest for Sour Diesel is March 19th-26th.
1/15/10 Sour Diesel started flowering 21 days flowering.
2/5/10 todays date/ 42-49 days left to flower.
Max flowering time March 19th-26th.
Drying 5-7 days/3-4 week cure, smoke by end of April with 9-10week flowering period.
Stop molasses in last week of flushing, finish the last week with plain water.
3 days before harvest cut the lights out and leave it for those 3 days in complete dark.
Sorry RIU for no new pics yet, but just to let you know they are looking great. The bagseed has 2 colas like 3 inches long, and about the size of a quarter around already and its only in the fourth week, 5-6 weeks to go. The Sour diesel is look hairy, and Dank as fuck. I am going to cure the sour diesel longer because I want the sour diesel to taste great, but the bagseed is getting a short cure because I want to smoke it. lol

I cant believe I didnt tell you guys I started using the Diy co2 with yeast+sugar in a 2 litre bottle a week after the bagseed showed sex so I have been using it a while, I will post a pic of the one I made when I post the new pics sometime this week. Oh yea I also found out that the weirdo I had was Grape Kush from dj shorts seeds, the reason I know is because the people I bought the bud from told me it was Grape Kush, but I wasnt sure that they didnt just give it that name because it was purple. I looked on DJ Shorts Grape Kush genetics and it said good yeild, High potency, and a high chance for deformaties.

sweet that u made that CO2 thing, i been looking into some co2 setups as well.

I believe the Co2 made a huge diffrence in there growth, The bagseed plant has two main colas that are like 4" long already and solid, kinda feels like a hard sponge when I squeeze them, they are very dense and like the size of a quarter around. Also does anyone know if it is normal to have trichome development already in week 3 because both the Sour Diesel and the bagseed are both starting to get alot of trichomes. The Sour Diesel has really taken to the LST and now it has like 15 colas. Im guessing if I harvested the bagseed right now I would get 6g dry already, and trust me Im not saying I want to harvest it I was just using a refrence so you guys could guess how much they have grown.

They looking pretty good right now I am so proud of my ladies. This week is the start of week 4 for the bagseed and the start of week 3 for the sour diesel since they first showed sex. The bottle has a air tight lid and a water hose going through it that is also air tight, the end of the hose is closed off and I have slits cut in it all the way from the bottle to the end of the hose. I started with 4 tbsp of yeast and 2 cups of sugar, and every other day I add a teaspoon of sugar, and once a week add 1 tbsp of yeast, and once every three weeks I will clean out the bottle and start over. I have been feeding the bone meal tea I made once a week (every other watering) and using the molasses the same way once a week (every other watering). Please comment on new pics and if you can try and guess my yeild. Oh yea and the sock is over the Co2 bottle to keep it light proof so the yeast doesnt mold.
