Just got back to the grow from two days out of town. The ladies are looking a little yellow.

Hopefully this sorts itself out soon.

Threw out three cups that had dead seeds. The 4th one that hasn't sprouted yet seems to be still viable so I've left it in the room, but took a little dirt out of it so the sprout is above the soil. If it doesn't show improvement soon I'll be tossing it.

Not sure what's going on with that one leaf sticking out of the dirt in this pic..

When checking on the ladies yesterday I noticed they looked a little droopy. The leaves are still firm, but they're curled down a little.

I put a rack on top of the tray they are on so that they aren't sitting in run off. And since they were all dry I went ahead and watered them all. Only about 2.5oz of water a piece, but there was no run off at all. So I've come to the conclusion that I need to add some perlite or an alternative into the soil asap.

I added some perlite to my soil mix today. The seedlings aren't looking great. A couple of them are still nice and green, but about half of them are very pale with burnt tips and some brown spotting. I went ahead and transplanted them all into bigger pots with the perlite added.

Will add pictures with the next update!

This is my first grow ever! I've been on this forum for years but never grew due to my living circumstances. Now I'm in my own place and starting my a closet cfl grow to get one under my belt. I germinated 10 bagseeds for about 3 days. 6 in a paper towel (5 popped) and 4 in a glass of water. (1 popped) I only germinated 10 cause I'm sure about half of them will be males. I don't have the space for 10 adult plants right now.
The 4 from the cup are labeled B1, B2, B3 and B4. B1 was the I my one to produce a taproot so it has a star. The paper towel seeds are A1-6 and A1 is the only one that did not pop.

I plan to use lst and other methods to keep these ladies short and thick, and hopefully have a decent yield. View attachment 3831824 View attachment 3831825 View attachment 3831826 View attachment 3831827

good luck with your first grow. I think you will find this a fun and rewarding hobby. with a small closet grow like that have you considered T5s? http://www.ebay.com/itm/T5-HO-Indoor-Grow-Light-2-ft-6-Lamps-DL826s-Fluorescent-Fixture-Hydroponic-Veg-/322070695253?hash=item4afce8cd55:g:WYQAAOSwEeFVJwTF

Yeah, the soil is a little hot. But I think they will grow into it. I plan on flushing them next time I water.
That sucks man. :( my actual light hangers should be here today

Transplanted this plant to the floor.
Changed my mind because I couldn't shut the door.
I repotted it and it looks fine. IMAG1379.jpg

The rest of the plants are doing great!

All of the girls received their first feeding today. IMAG1411.jpgI fed 1.25mls of the foilage pro, and 2ml of the pro-tekt.

The grow that it suggests is 3-1-2 and the foliage pro I have is 9-3-6 so I fed 1/3rd of the recommended strength. I hope I did that right.

These are pics right before their feeding. Now I'm gonna watch then closely to see how they handle the nutes.
