When I dropped by my Ins agents office there was a list and Walgreens was on the list for Moda but that certain store was not yet excepting the card for some reason. I don't know why, it could be the management was behind the ball or something?

Could be because Walgreens can suck from time to time. I deal with them becuase there are literally 5 walgreens withing 1.5 miles of my house and they have all screwed up on the insurance payments. It all gets sorted out but it is a hassle

walgreens is full of idiotic pharmacists who don't know how to read insurance cards. Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, insurer had to call in and everything.

the pharmacist was trying to convince me my card was only for doctor's visits, not medicine. i think she was trying to get me to pay cash full price, then bill the insurance company, put the $7.36 I actually owed into the register, and pocket the rest....

If you are willing to wait, and you are sure of your coverage. They always get it straightened out. But like you I would say 1 out of every 5 visits is a clusterfuck with them

Here is the problem. A provider does accept, say, Anthem. It has for years, but it will not accept Anthem if it is purchased through the exhcange. Premiums for the non-exchange are about $1000. Premiums for the exchange are about $1100. The insurance company pays. Now, explain to me why the provider will not accept the exchange plan but will accept the private one?

because there is something going on with your doctor and anthem..did you check the exchange and see if they indeed are the same policy?
