Hello,

this is my first shot at hydro, i puthese pplants into flower on the 10th of june, so almost 2 weeks now, i started them with 36 hours of darkness then 12/12. i started with 8, 3 truned out to be males. i replaced them with others that i had in veg...just in case... i have 4 females nad 4 i am still waiting on. they are in 2 18 gallon dwc totes (4 in each). they are consumming about 3 gallons every 3 to 5 days thus far. i have them under one 400w hps in a diy air cooled hood. the room has been holding between 86 to 78 degree f and 30 to 50% rh. i just installed my intake to the outside, and took some pics i built a diy carbonfilter(12"tall 6" around 250 cfm inline filled with activated carbon) it is not working for shit...any idea on smell control?

comments and suggestions welcome.

they arent huge but im happy i got some girls

hello,

i am having a small issue with my flowering plants. they are growing into the lights every day. althoguh theey have slowed in upward growth quite a bit in the last few days i am still worried becuase i only have 4" of upward movement left for my lights.

anyone have anythoughts on keeping my plants from growing into the lights?

Hello,

there is nothing new here just wanted to take some photos of the buds...I bent the tallest over and hooked it to the stem, it seems to be doing well.
there is one other that i may need to do the same to after a little bit.

one question...i have a couple of them that have so many leaves that the smal;ler plant cant even get light...what should i do, kill the smaller one? or just let it go. is there some sort of trimming i can do to help get the smaller plant some light? i dont want to kill the larger plant by trimming...i will prolly just not do anything and see how it goes.

Looks great man! Is there any way to raise the smaller plant? or maybe LST it away from the larger one?

i have two dwc 18 gal totes side by side...it is in the center row and has large plants surrounding it. so i cant raise or lst to more light. is ther a way of maybe trimmingthe larger ones?
ill post some pics of the setup to explaiun better.

How about slightly lst'ing the larger plants towards the outside, to at least give the smaller one a little more light, I would wanna minimize trimming at this stage...maybe a little, but don't go overboard with it...

its not terrible, i am gonna try to move the plants around to get it more light,
unless there is some possible trimming?

i agree thanks for input, much appreciated.

next go around i plan use 4 5gall buckets , cant decide weather to attatcht hem or not. thisis supposed to be a perpetual system, so i think i will connect them in pairs, it makes filling them easier. i have cheap wally world airstones rightnow i plan on getting the disks. but for now i will just wait on harvest lol

thanks again.
